Can't wait to see how much uninteresting preachy filler he throws in this one. If he keeps it to a minimum like Inside Man, i might be able to sit through it

And being a picklebreath i find it offensive that a black director thinks he can go remaking a great Korean film. ODLBOY WAS NOT SOME RACE RELATIONS CHARACTER STUDY SET IN BROOKLYN WITH A JOHN TURTURRO CAMEO. IT WAS A GRAPHIC NOVEL ADAPTED INTO KOREAN AWESOMENESS. MY ANCESTORS WERE PICKLEBREATHS. WHO ATE KIMCHI. son he filmed it here in NOLA and had some Honeybees in it. I don't expect it to be worth a shit.

Oldboy is probably my favorite South Korean movie, but the plot makes no sense. I am curious to see if the remake can do a better job.

terrible. remaking asian movies is fine, but Oldboy is such a cult classic that it needs to be left alone. take the idea, sure, but leave the title.
