Sources say that OKC and Phoenix have had discussions on a trade that could involve Perkins and Lamb for at least Marcin Gortat. News is that Perkins is sitting out tonight's game due to a sprained knee, but some are speculating something could be up.

No truth to rumor of Gortat and Tucker to OKC for Perkins, Lamb and a first......not going to happen

Yeah, all speculation like I said. Not sure John Gambadoro is really privy to front office dealings of the Phoenix Suns though, so his comments are probably just as speculative.

Gambo is a shit analyst but a good mouthpiece. If he says it, it's probably true.

Wow, the Suns would have to be really interested in Jeremy Lamb for such a shitty trade to take place.
Gortat for Perkins? My goodness, that's terrible for the Suns, and wonderful for the Thunder.

OKC is still playing 4 on 5 offensively with Perkins. I'd be more than happy to see Gortat out there in his place. I think the rumor was including Lamb and a future pick. OKC was supposedly shopping Maynor as well, but he wasn't mentioned in this.

3 or 3.5 on 5 considering Thabo

as if adding an offensive player will prevent Westbrook and Durant from firing 48 shots a nite :lol

Thabo is top 25 in the league in 3 point shooting at over 40%.

Don't know. Perkins' hands are so awful I don't blame them half the time for not giving him a look.

Suns are high on Lamb. They thought of drafting him last year. They like his length and athleticism as a wing defender ( same reasons they want Iman Shumpert ). Throw in a 1st and I think it makes enough sense. Maybe drive the price up to two OKC 1sts with Lamb and Perkins.

Gambo is Sarver's bottom bitch. In exchange for being a Sarver apologist and agreeing to always blame someone other than Sarver, Sarver feeds Gambo information, so he is privy to this kind of stuff.

Ah..well, maybe it's a no go then. We'll settle for Jermaine.

I can understand why someone wouldn't think he's got a clue about anything though seeing how unprofessional and stupid he is.

A starting 5 of Westbrick-Sefolosha-Durefs-Abaka-Gortat would be a nightmare even for Miami since you have a C who can create his own shot.

Duncan has trouble going one on one against Perkins but he can eat Gortat alive

True, this trade would have been good for us six years ago. Perkins is a better post defender. But instead of feeding Duncan in the post we play the pick n roll game much more. And Gortat is a better pick n roll defender than Perkins.

More like 7 on 5 tbh

This trade is good for the Spurs tbh

This move doesn't help OKC all that much in terms of their title chances. Gortat is better than Perkins, but he isn't a star scoring big which is what OKC truly needs. An Ibaka/Gortat frontcourt won't really do much on offense. OKC also would have Chimpbrook still on the team.

Dominos falling. If its really a gortat deal I have no clue why the suns want Perkins' heavy contract. They're already offensively deficient

I doubt it's Phoenix. I'll take Lamb and a 1st. I'd love to return the raping of the Kurt Thomas trade and bend OKC over for Lamb plus two 1sts, or get the Raptors 1st.

I doubt Blanks is that good.

Nope. But Presti might be that desperate. He already lost Harden. Can't not win a title with Durant/Westbrook.

gortat wouldn't be an upgrade than porkins by anymeans and lambo is their last hope to justify the harden deal. OKC have some superb talents but they're still a shitty franchise after all

Actually, the centerpiece in return for Harden was the Raptors lotto pick.
