Over Deandre Jordan? I'm surprised, not that I think DJ is the most improved, just that fans wouldn't vote for him over Kawhi.

About time the kid got some dap, not that he cares or anything. Remember his response last year when asked if he was upset he finished fourth in voting for ROY?
"I wasn't really looking at the rankings. It's an individual honor. Congratulations to whoever won it."
Like a boss.

I love this along with him saying he didn't want to meet anyone at ASW.

Known for their established stars, the San Antonio Spurs are developing their next one, Kawhi Leonard. The second-year guard-forward has quickly become a trusted player with the league-leading Spurs.

Remember that San Diego writer that wrote how horrible it was for Leonard to go to an aging team like San Antonio? I wonder what he thinks about it now?

so horrible, poor kawhi has to go play for the most consistently excellent team in north american professional sports and make a run at the title his very first season
guy sounds like a doofus

Notable that he's starting for the Spurs at such a young age. I bet many around the league are thinking that Kawhi must be a special talent.

I hated that too, but in all fairness, we had just come off the loss to Memphis and looked VERY old. We hadn't developed Green yet, and Neal was just finished with his rookie season. There was also a veteran SF making like $11M in Kawhi's way.
It can be good for a youngster to be on a veteran team. They get a chance to develop slowly and with little pressure.
