Good work by the Jazz, having one of the few post players in the NBA you can go to in the clutch but never giving him the ball. Nice.

Pau has missed most of the season.
Nash missed two months.
Dwight is severely hampered by his back.
Kobe has elbow tendinitis.
Maybe there are a couple of teams that could compare, but Lakers are at the top with anybody.

Wow, Atif. Finding new lows every day.
Justifying losses as "expected." Rooting for bitter rivals on the slim, slim chance that it helps your team reach an 8 seed. Pinning your hopes on other teams because your $100 million roster just isn't good enough to do it on their own
A truly, hilariously embarrassing display.

Utah is +6 over .500, the Lakers will never catch them. More probable is that the Lakers could slip to #10 or #11 in the standings. From 9 to 11 all teams have 30 lost games.

Lakers have won 8 out of 12 despite injuries.
The All-Star break allows the Lakers to have a fresh start for the 2nd half of the season and it's been the perfect storm so far. Dr. Buss's death was obviously sad and unfortunate, but it should motivate the team, especially Kobe. Adding to that was the buzz surrounding Kobe at the ASG, everybody is talking about it and reporters have been saying that the team is fired up over it.
Dont be surprised if the Lakers finish as high as 6th and have higher seeds trying to avoid them. So enjoy it while you can since I'm gonna bump this later(along with all the Laker hatred posts here this season).

LA has to win at least 2 of their next 3 (which they should with an easy first two games). They can't afford to lose against Miny or ATL with OKC being the 3rd game

Lakers are 10-19 on the road... even though some of those teams are weak on paper, the Lakeshow are very vulnerable away from home.
Never underestimate this team, they give every scrubby team a chance to beat them.
Rockets actually have an even easier schedule, IIRC.

Didn't the Kings beat them in Sacramento earlier this season?
Joyrider

That's not that easy of a schedule. I can see them losing the first three easily since the OKC game is guaranteed loss already and Vasquez will have a career night in NO. Magic, Pacers, Warriors, and Kings can all be losses too being all road games.
Especially since the Magic will be extra motivated, this being Dwight's first game back in Orlando after all.
