How many people think the clippers are a serious contender? They are deep, but can they beat the best team in basketball the spurs?! We all know that tony parker owns chris paul.. is this even a matchup?

Funny thing about the clippers is when the spurs were deep last year, you heard a lot of ppl say "depth doesn't translate into the playoffs" (which is stupid imo, there were many reasons we lost last year and relying on depth was not really one of them). And now majority is using depth as a validation of the clippers' status as a contender.
Pick one stance ppl lol

beating the spurs ain't gonna translate into championship either. clippers would be a nightmare matchup for them spurs but there ain't gonna be much problem for miami to match up against them. both teams will be playing monkeyball out there if there's a clippers-miami finals, and miami will beat the flop city to this end certainly.

Clippers ceiling this year is the second round. Any team that excels in the beginning of the season usually fades out later on. They are good but I'm not sure they can get past either OKC or the Spurs tbh.

Let's be honest. Nobody is a serious contender besides the Heat.

Top 3 other teams have serious fallacies that cannot be overcome:
OKC - missing Harden and have a chimp as floor general
Spurs - no legit Playoff superstar to carry them
Clips - chimpballing your way through life can only take you so far

only contender if cp3 plays out of his mind, but shrinks on the biggest stage though for no apparent reason, whether its injuries or cant see eye to eye with the other elite pgs in the playoffs....
