If there's one think you can take to the bank about a player from this family it's that they can regularly put the ball in the hole from a long ways away.

Haven't seen him go in any of the mocks. He's a great shooter but not much else. I'd have to think somebody might take him in the 2nd round.

Worth a second rounder on his name alone. Worked for Marc Gasol

Three point shooting and rebounding are probably the two skills that translate best from level to level.

I would like to see the Spurs draft Curry.

Somebody will draft him in the 2nd. The guy seems to be injured every year at Duke so I am sure that is why his name is not mentioned in the 1st.
Neal replacement with 2nd round pick ?

Best option in the draft for a Neal replacement. He has some injury concerns that could knock him back to the late 2nd, but I think the Spurs would have to move up if they want him. Maybe trade De Colo for it?

So in your plan we lose Neal, trade Nando, and end up with Curry. Wow, seriously...

I'm not saying I like it. I'm just saying that it's an option. If they like Curry better than Nando, and they don't believe that Neal can be signed for a reasonable amount, then it's the right move.

So he ended up undrafted?

Yup, he worked out for nobody and he's small. Nobody wanted to take a chance on that.

He's a poor passer, ball handler, defender, and not much of a scorer inside the the 3 point line.
Sounds like Neal, except Curry is smaller & unproven from NBA range. I'd give him a summer league spot if he'd take it purely for the shooting, but if his name was Seth Johnson, nobody would be particularly high on him.

Curry is set to workout for the Bobcats in August, after passing up their Summer League offer and missing draft workouts because of a stress fracture in his right shin that required surgery. He already has training camp invites from the Wolves, Spurs and Warriors.
