Soundfreaq Kick for my g/f.......... G project G Boom for me. Both sound really good. G Boom is much bigger, and is a bit more more powerful with stronger bass response. The Kick is top rated where ever you look. Sounds amazing, and is about the size of a cigarette carton. Bluetoof SQ has gotten incredibly good. I cant tell the difference form docking now.

Soundfreaq Kick........ $100

Got both from Target. The soundfreaq is small enough for my girl to throw in her backpack and roll with. Mine is for straight up kickin it with some vahka and short ribs on the grill. :toast

Took back the G-Boom and picked up smaller JBL Flip...........sounds amazing, and gets just as loud.........but with not quite as much bass. Thats to be expected since its much smaller.

^ let me know when you reach the 21st century.

Recent studies have disproved that the size of the speaker has anything to do with the quality and scope of the bass. You should check out the line of Pinhole Bass Speakers that hit the market last year. They can be easily mounted anywhere behind a wall and unless you know where the small refractory hole has been bored, you won't know where the music is coming from. And the bass has been tested and quantified as X3A quality (which you cannot get from even the largest speakers on the market).

Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for you and make sure there's a Camelflage for you when you arrive.
