look i understand its worrisome to see wes johnson shutting down parker like that and to see a repeat in the long defender strategy work so well against us ala sefolosha in last year wcf...

first let me say that tp missed some shots he normally makes (open floaters, a point blank layup and some jumpers) so he didnt look 100%.

but let me ask you something before you question pop for not coming with a counter: why dont you think that the best mind in basketball has a perfect counter against the long defender thing that he just doesnt want to reveal in a meaningless game against an opponent thats going no where?

let me just guarantee that he does have a counter and you wont see it till okc in the wcf. thats all!

The counter is having a dominant frontline, that's all.

It's funny to me how people focus on TP and Manu when Tim and the frontline is the most worrying.

Tosb Tim + playing Blair heavy minutes after all the lip service about defense = very worrying

Pop failing to find a backup PG and not giving Joseph the best defender of all the candidates a real shot after all the lip service about defense = very worrying

But for some reason most people focus on Manu's FT, TP vs long defenders... TP was fine in the WCF, he wasn't incredible but he didn't lose us the series so let's focus on real problems not ST fantasies.

As LJ said, I think more Green was in order - especially since Manu currently sucks. That's on Pop. Pretty micro stuff considering the injuries, but spurfan loves to wallow.

It's no coincidence the team is 0-3 when Jack leaves the court for the locker room mid-game. That messed up the wing rotation.
