He'll go in the top 10. I doubt the Spurs will trade up that high.

Getting this guy, could be awesome. TOP 10 pick, tbh

Could do what we did to get Kawhi...swap our first rounder and CoJo for him..

But George Hill was/is valueable piece. I cannot believe that somebody will give their 10-15 or better pick for #30 and CoJo.

CoJo?

A 29th pick who hasn't played even one season's worth of NBA games and plays primarily in the d-league won't pull a pick high enough to grab Mac.

He really should go back to UNC. He didn't impress anyone this year. He needs to dominate the ACC next year or he might as well just come out as a late first or second round draft pick next year. If he doesn't improve after pulling out of the draft twice now, a senior season just won't help.

It just looked like he really put in no work at all, like coming back for his sophomore year was just killing time between the 2012 and 2013 drafts. Hopefully, the negative word from the NBA talent evaluators will fucking sting a little this year and he'll get pissed and really improve next year.

Mock drafts have him the 1st round.

Why didn't any team promised him a pick in the 1round?
Does he think he can be a lottery pick next year?

There's a pool of NBA front office people that vet early entry candidates. He must not have gotten good feedback.

What do you consider "good feedback"? First round? Top 20? What do you think he wanted and didn't get?

I'm not sure what it was, possibly lottery, but whatever he wanted to hear he didn't.

He`s got potential for better than 20-25th pick. Junior year, playing at PF with legit C around, should help him.

Mid second rounder right now.

DX doesn't even have him in the draft. He's ranked #74 on their list.

He wasted another year at UNC with a great coach, and didn't improve at all. To me, and a lot of GMs, that itself is a red flag for work ethic.

It's not so much that he stayed in school. He didn't DO anything to improve his game. It was like he was just marking time until the next draft.

There are lots of 21 year olds in this draft. Hell, there's even a 24 YO projected late in the second round.

Wow. That's a shocker. I think he was being mocked to the Spurs earlier in the season. Now, it seems that it'd be a reach to take him at 58, according to DX. If he didn't get appreciably worse, that makes no sense.

I'm not sure but I think I remember this guy being projected as a lottery pick had he declared for last year's draft. This is so disappointing.

He is interesting prospect at 58 or 60th pick. UNC game was always about athletism, never about pure skill. Take him, put in Toros for a year. Guy is young and was considered one of best talent in his recruiting class.

He is a total anti-Spur

I don't think SA takes him even if he falls to the 58th/60th picks.

He's got the physical tools to be successful in the NBA. I just don't know about his motor and desire to improve. Really disappointing because he could be a solid contributor on most squads.

Guys like that get passed over or fail out of the league every year. The tools aren't enough. Having a top flight set of Craftsmans in my garage doesn't make me an auto mechanic.
