Are you kidding? Green shot the 3 fine in the first/second rounds last year. Went cold in the WCF.

His streakiness is just random. Not like Bonner who obviously shrivels only when the games matter.

I'm well aware of that. But when it really mattered he looked like a deer in the headlights, and I've seen it from him in big regular season games too.

As I said, it's I'm not sure about this, but it is "a concern". What he does this year in the WCFs, presuming we get there, will tell us a lot about his character.

How great of a gig do team's commentators have? They get paid to travel across the US for free and watch basketball games. And they get to walk around the city and check everything out during the day. Pretty sweet gig. Just a random thought.

am i the only one that didn't think that looked too bad? obviously i'm not pro on injuries and maybe that was bad, but i've seen ankles turn a lot worse than that and the players have been out like a game or 2. it didn't even fully roll tbh

DesignatedT
03-01-2013, 10:15 PM
Well this could be a disaster or it could turn out to be a good thing. (silver lining). Maybe it gets Tim out of his funk and finally wakes the hibernating Ginobili up. Maybe lets a backup PG distance himself from the rest as well. Of course only if it's a simple sprain which he will be out 2-4 weeks.

I hope you guys noticed that Tony was able to stand up by himself initially. He tested his ankle and probably realized it would be better if he was helped off the court, so he sat back down and let Dejuan carry him off. He stood for a good 3-4 seconds before sitting back down.

It's not like he was totally incapable of standing up.

Any more info on TP's ankle? I had to leave for 10mins.

Ankle's are funny - I've had 37 sprains and 3 torn ligaments and unless you tear a ligament you never really know how bad it is until the next day. I've had grade 2s that I could walk on, and grade 1s that felt like torn ligaments. Cross your collective fingers!

Offensively I thought Cory did a fine job. 9 points in 5 minutes on perfect shooting. Hard to criticize, tbh.

I was kind of surprised he picked up his 6th foul early on. I had no idea he had racked up that many fouls in so few minutes. Guess I wasn't paying attention.

More of a "he's a rookie in the eyes in the ref" thing. He needs extended minutes so refs can see how he defends; 2-3 of his fouls were iffy.
