Can't believe I've been a member here for 6 years (though only a serious junky for the last two). I'll admit, SR was the place I called home during the oughts; when that place went to shit a few years back, I despaired over the lack of a great Spurs forum. That was just my ignorance, and at some point along the way a few disjointed neurons must have fired, as I remembered there was some other place, where one could engage in ST. I returned, after many championship-less years, to an almost unused account, and having this forum as a way to connect with so many great Spurs fans from all over the world, has made these last two seasons so much more enjoyable than they otherwise would have been.

So thank you timvp and Kori, it may just be a sports forum, but it means a lot to a whole lot of people. :toast

I was also a spursreport guy, but then they seperated from woai (or joined with them, I can't remember) and the transition went horribly. Their website was down for months (if I can remember correctly), so I needed my spurs fix. I googled around and found this place. I signed up posted a little, then I didn't have the internet for a while, so I didn't post for a while, then when I got it back I couldn't remember my password and signed up as Drachen808, posted like that for a while, then asked kori to release my old account. I think she merged them, but that is why my "start date" is in 2004 instead of 2003 like everyone else.

Holy crap. Never realized I've been around here -- lurking or otherwise -- since roughly the beginning. Started out on SpursCentral.com when I was only 15 years old writing Spurs articles just so I'd have something to put onto my college resume. I remember vaguely something about there being a rift between there and here, few years later I was in the hospital and in a real bad way for about half a year and when I came back around that place wasn't around but this place was still alive and well.

Moved back to San Antonio, finished up college, still active on here during that time. Then got into a really serious relationship and married her after college because I realized that she was hot and the only way to lock it up was with a ring. Lurked here for a few years, then once she finally turned into an old maid and left me to my peace and quiet like she damn well should I finally got to come back and participate more regularly.

I don't recall everything very well re: SR and ST. I lurked long before I posted at SR, probably starting around 2001/2002.

My hazy memory is that SR went to the EN and then back and at some point required log-ins to read, and I never log in unless I have something to post so that pushed me over here as far as I can remember. I do remember heavy anti-Spurs-criticism moderation.

:lol was about to post you only as old as you feel but then again there are days now where i do feel old. my missus reminded me im only as old as I act. 37 going on 20.
