Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is expected to miss 8 to 10 weeks with a strained tendon in his right wrist, the team announced on Wednesday.

Wrist injuries are not good especially when bat speed is severely impacted by them. By nature of torquing the bat it puts a lot of stress on it. Shit like that lingers.
