We love Kawhi, we give him praise all the time, but never have I seen someone say ''Kawhi is an all-star (or should have been one)” Not even a gnsf is dumb enough to say that, unless there's someone named playleonardmore lurking around here, tbh.

Nope, not every player has potential to be an AS.

Not yet because the ball still goes through the big 3. But playing in mediocre team in the east, could possibly.

Nope, not every player has potential to be an AS.

Every player has the potential to be an all star in any given year, no matter how small. Nobody's banned a priori from being named to the all star team.

Don't you know Kobe fears the Red Mamba. I wonder if after a game Kobe would tweet that Bonner's got the Mamba blood running through him.

Kawhi will be an all star, write that down..

I agree, he works hard and can create his own shot, plays good defense and has a high ceiling. The sky is the limit, definitely a tier 2 superstar.

Leonard doesn't get enough touches on a consistent basis. Nealy half of his shots are coming from 3 and he still shoots 49%. I don't think its a stretch to see him push 20 ppg shooting around 45% given more opportunity in the years to come as he expands his game. For now, he plays with the big 3. I don't really know what you expect.

Honestly, he looked much better than Deng tonight, and Deng is an all star. Deng looked like he had no chance scoring when Leonard was guarding him.

Obviously he's not an all star right now though. Not sure who said that.

You are correct, Sequ. He was not on the all-star team. Excellent observation and thread topic. :tu

He has gotten plenty of touches, he is just now being more aggressive when he gets the ball. We have seen his mid range game blossom lately as well as looking decisive and dominant when he goes to the rim. We are just beginning to see what he is capable of. In another year or two, this kid will be a perennial all-star!

Never agreed with Sequ before, but his statement is 100% correct. If he implied that Kawhi WILL NEVER be an All-Star ... then I strongly disagree.
