Meh. Just another win. No reason for a jizz storm. It's not like we're on the playoff fringe and just got a "quality" win over a tanking team.

Exactly. No one makes a big deal of the Thunder blowing out bad teams at home.

The Spurs are doing what they normally do. They start off slow and shitty during the start of the season then go off in a great run during a large portion of the middle and/or latter part of the season only to crap out before making it to the Finals.

Not the case in 2007 tbh

sort of like the Mavs before 2011? Moral of the story: let them play, instead of pointing at "last year" and such. lebron choked in big moments, right? then he shit all over durant in the 2012 finals.

Okay, I should have been more detailed. In recent years, the Spurs have done the thing where they start off slow in the regular season then get on a roll and ride it to the playoffs only to miss out on making it to the Finals.

We'll see. The Spurs of the past few years were like the Suns, too little defense to fall back on.

beat me to it. We were a league average defense in recent years. Elite this year.

The 11 Mavs would beat the 11, 12 or 13 Spurs

Like you said lately yes this is the way it goes, I see you addressed that.

This year they would have a tough time, last year I might have to say a good maybe and 11 I agree fully. These are not the Spurs best or title teams you mention so 11 Mavs with the run they had would have a shot.

spurs were notorious for playing dull games during their best years from 03 to 07. even though their playing style has changed alot over the past years and their games are pretty interesting to watch these days with slam dunks and fast breaks thanks to their young players like leonard, neal and my nigga blair, people's impression on that team hasn't changed much and if you ask a non-texan basketball fan, he would still prefer to watch a mavs game over the spurs despite the mavs being a rebuilding team.
