Anytime I see a dangerous individual about to do harm to an innocent, I'll first get his attention with a loud cough or something. The important thing is to keep the potential victim unaware so they don't get scared. When the would-be perp looks me in the eyes, I'll just slowly shake my head... my stance and look say it all, "no not here...not today...". 90% of the time, they'll hang their head and walk away. For those that aren't smart enough and continue to escalate their threat, I'll slowly get into a crouching stance and begin to load up a spinning back kick...this time, the unsaid words, "you really want to do this??". Only the most foolhardy are still around for phase three which involves me screaming wildly and pepper spraying the shit out of them.

I definitely wouldn't jump in between 2 guys of equal size like in the video because I'd be pretty useless, so I'd just scream a lot and call 911. If someone of any size was attacking a child, elderly or an animal I think I'd have to jump in.
