Phoenix Suns center Marcin Gortat today underwent an MRI that revealed a Lisfranc (midfoot) sprain in his right foot. The injury is expected to sideline him for approximately three to four weeks.

The 6-11, 245-pound center sustained the injury with 34.6 seconds remaining in the first quarter of the Suns’ game against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

One less excuse to not play the young guys wasted on their roster.

Sucks it will affect his trade value, though. He needed to be gone this offseason.

Good for him. Get healthy, and come to play for NT in the summer.

We can't trade Scola until next year, because of the way we acquired him.

Gortat is the only one worthy of the bunch, but he is no Pau Gasol.

Gasol has been bled out. If it hadn't a been for that grinning fool Howard in '09 and Bynum blowing out Perkins knee in '10 Gasol would be considered a total bust out.

We tried to get Beasley late last season, but, it got blocked by somebody. I forget the details, but, he (in Los Angeles) feels right. Gortat would blossom under D'Antoni.

I know.

Can't trade now, anyways, regardless.

And, Cubby, I'll throw in Scola if you throw in a 1st.

suns claimed scola out of waivers and they're not allowed to trade him away within one year of the day they acquired him imho

Jermaine is away with a sick daughter or something. He has been beasting when here, though. One of the few bright spots this season.

First, Giuseppe sung the praises of Hedo Turkoglu playing next to Nash. Now he's begging us to "gift" him the turd sandwich that is Michael Beasley. Loving it.
