Yes, I think so. We're a year or two away, but damn we got some pieces! We just need a little more depth and we'll be contenders!

If they lose tonite, and we win tomorrow and "EE" happens immediately thereafter we'll be in and I can enter my house justified.

Yes, they are clearly the best seeing as how they blew out the Spurs with Batum only scoring 2 points.

Based on last night, yes. Based on the last 5 years, no.

They've had a lot more appearances on TNT and ESPN in the past 5 years than both the Grizzlies and the Hawks. Just sayin'. You rarely see the Hawks and Grizzlies on TNT or ESPN. If they are on ESPN or TNT, they're usually the road team and they're playing the Lakers, Heat, or Thunder.

the Blazers have a history of having really good championship contending teams...from the 90's 2000's and even today....for whatever reason they could never quite make it over that hump...what a shame

T it ain't gonna happen son. The Blazers are more likely to lose Lillard in 3 years either in free agency or to an injury.

More like a curse tbh. They could've easily rung in 1999 & 2000.

Was Adelman their coach during those years?

Yes. Between Lillard, Aldridge, and Batum it is a wonder that they are not in the playoffs. Even without a bench that should be enough for the seventh or eighth spot. On paper, they look better than the Rockets or Jazz.
