I really hope, after all these years, that Pop has finally come up with a solution to putting a longer defender on a TP. Because this is what happens.

The Spurs are not a bad team, but TP runs the offense, and with Manu being the old broken shell of himself, we can't afford for Tony to get locked up and next thing you know, Pop panics and we give up 136 points in a playoff game.

If he can't come up with a solution then you really have to question if he really is a "genius" .

It's pretty obvious the OP is saying having a productive Parker is vital, not that he was shut down yesterday.

The Thunder struggle when Durant has off games. The Heat struggle when LeBron is having an off game. Right now the Spurs are more or less the Bulls, unless Manu plays like the amazing Manu, in which case we can still pull wins off regularly.

Give him some time, don't rush him.
Without 3 stars, the league MVP, HOF type rolies and vs rigged reffing it most likely ain't gonna happen.

Besides the fact that Tony didn't play, they just made an INSANE amount of luckyass shots. They couldn't miss. It was like OKC last June all over again. However it's good to get those "cookies" games out of the way in the regular season.
