I dont want to make a long thread...
Looking at the current standings, it is almose certain (?) that the GSW wont reach the number #5 Seed. So, whoever gets the number 1 seed will have to face in the second round, either Memphis or Denver. And the #2 seed will probably face the Clippers.
If I had to choose, I rather play against the Clippers then Denver at this point, IMO!
#2 Seed face #7 seed (Lakers/GSW/Houston)
Then Clippers (?) and then finals.
#1 Seed face #8 seed (Lakers/GSW/Houston)
Then Denver/Memphis
I think Denver can beat OKC. And if that happens and the Spurs get to the finals, the famous HCA is ours.
Hope this make sense to someone...

The Heat would have home court right now. If you expect the Thunder to pass the Spurs, I don't see why you wouldn't expect the Heat to remain above San Antonio.

It's still so fluid.
Really not worth thinking about.

It shouldn't matter unless your really not that good and want to try for a fools gold championship. If you want to prove your the best NBA team you should not be afraid to take on any NBA team.
A team that fools it's way past the WFC will only be completely curb stomped by Miami.
Whatever happened to " If you think your the best prove it and earn it!"

I'm not talking about the NBA Finals, i'm talking about the conference finals.

It is not so fluid. GSW are 7games behind Denver. If the Clippers dont lose the 3rd seed, than Mem-Den will play against the 1seed in the 2nd round.

I get what you are saying but I dont agree. Its like saying, lets start resting now as long as we qualify to the POs, lets play OKC in the first round.

Fools gold championship? What champions (in the history of the NBA) do you think were not the best teams? I dont whink you will be saying that the Spurs are not the best if they dont face OKC and win the conference.
Again, lets get the #8 seed and face OKC in the first round. Earn it!

Right, that's what the playoffs are for in the first place, to prove the best team in the league. Furthermore, i wouldnt be afraid one bit of the Denver nuggets, you wanna talk about a fools gold team. Who's gonna put that team on their back? Ty Lawson? Javale McGee? I know they're hot right now but please...
