this deserved a thread

I do favor the idea of having a post-count threshold to able to make threads, even if that means I would be under it.

That being said, there are plenty of people with high post counts who'd make a thread like this, too.

Splitter is 4-19 in the last 2 games

He was team-lead 4 turnovers tonight too.. you just have to hope his 3 pointer is on and he doesn't try to dribble, tbh...

Green needs Parker in a bad way.

Drive to the basket and suddenly changed his mind and pass the ball

Danny Green is a solid player, but he would not be in the NBA if there wasn't a 3-point line, tbh:lol..

Generally, guards that can't dribble/pass don't make it far..luckily, his 3-point shot is automatic, he's an above average team defender and he plays in the best system in the NBA..

Reminds me of how I would cringe every time Bowen put the ball on the floor except now it is Green.

Funny. Over the last several games he has been fantastic overall at finishing at the rim.

Corner 3 specialist? Check.
Defensive-minded player? Check (though of course Green can't hold a candle to Bowen)
Starter with the lowest PER? Check.

one of our starters has to be the worst of the 5 right? im fine with a solid defender and knockdown shooter being my worst starter

Green can dunk but he chooses to lay it in because he is more of a finesse type player.

his inability to make easy shots at the rim and just dribble the ball up is amazing... that double dribble was hardly surprising..

lucky for his 3 point bombs

He is getting better, I like him a lot more than a month ago.
He has been more aggressive, which I think is important, otherwise teams just look at him.

he can't be a spot up shooter forever, let him make mistakes and learn from them, both him and leonard were bad ballhandlers at the start and were not capable of creating for themselves, now they are either decent or good, so their ceiling has not yet been reached. We must not stop their improvement for some more regular season wins..

Excellent point, I remember that too.

Agreed, he has improved a lot and he looks more like a vet now than a scared rookie. Im willing to bet he steps up this year in the playoffs

Tremendous observation. This just in: water is wet and the sky is blue. The USA has an African American president. Most children like mac and cheese.
