:lol that was the most unexpected play of the season, tbh(narrowly defeating Danny Green's first successful finish at the rim)..

When he used to play in France he had insane hops tbh. You guys wouldn't even believe.
I was like "holy shit" when I saw that dunk.

Everytime i watch Diaw playing i wonder how good he could be if he had a great work ethic. The game just come easy to him, everything he does in the court looks fluid and efortless...

Boris is coasting
when he decides to shoot and playmake he will be a gamechanger
his ability to facilitate when Parker gets trapped on the pick and roll really helped vs the Clippers last years playoffs
Jackson on the other hand is a true TOSB

I hope Diaw being passive right now, is him saving up all his energy for if we make it to the finals.

If Diaw hung on that rim for a bit longer he might have shattered the backboard

LOL fatty! How the hell can he play last summer and all year and still be out of shape? I wish we had the skinny BORIS from PHX, that would help alot now! The one who could triple double. I will take this one though if he can do this more.

Tony's out. They don't like to make Tony feel bad about his dunking.

At 6'8", Boris must be about 30 pounds over lean weight.
nba.com has him a 235 lbs. ????

I was being kind to the flying Frenchman, I don't ever recall Boris being skinny or thin.

Yeah, he's probably 20-25 lbs lighter than last year. He can't lose too much or he can't play the 4 spot. I think he's right where the Spurs want him to be, weight-wise. If he weren't, I don't think he'd be part of the three man 'big' rotation.

Yeah, I don't think he actually needs to lose weight for the 4 spot. Rather, he needs to get cut... which some people just can't seem to do. Still given Boris's documented love of french cooking, I think a paleo/no-carb diet and a summer of serious working out might be really good for him.

Boris needs to be able to body up post guys and box out
he doesnt need to lose more weight
weve seen how much Splitter has regressed on the glass after losing a few pounds
hes already very nimble for a fatty
no need to tinker with his weight

There was a picture of Boris shirtless posted in this forum a few months ago. It appeared that he was fully grown, and was very lean, certainly many 10s of pounds lighter than his soft, jiggly now.

Kawhi's been making top ten dunks lately, that's a friggin' shock to see somebody on the Spurs doing a top ten play that doesn't involve them being the victims.

And if he were playing SG/SF, you'd want him there. He's not. He's a full time PF now, and needs some weight.
You people are forgetting what he looked like when he got here last year. He's damn near lean compared to that now.

I think getting into rebounding position is more important than 30 extras pounds out of position. 3.5 RBs per 22 minutes is not serious PF rebounding.

He's never going to grab a lot of rebounds with Tim and Kawhi in the mix. He needs to be able to hold post position, since he isn't a shot blocker.
He's probably 255. At 6'8", that's about normal PF weight.

"....the slashing Diaw, and that has not been said very often" is too perfect.
Boris is one of the few Spurs I never worry about.
He's solid and dependable, and almost never sucks.
With all his minutes this year I would be shocked if Diaw wasn't good for a few choice highlights during the playoffs.
