I'm going out on a limb on this. Basketball gods, don't let me down.

I thought we hated the Lakers franchise?

Pat Riley would want none of that going into the post season. I say they lose to the Bulls or the Spurs.

the record is as old as jason kidd and i don't think we're gonna give a shit about beating that record tbh. we know what we're poised to contend for and such achievements in the regular season ain't nothing to boast of, instead i'd be more attracted to the idea of 10 titles winning streak tbh.

It wouldn't be a Miami Heat accomplishment without Gaycob popping some Xanax and starting a bunch of butthurt threads, tbh....

:madrun "I don't care about the gays, but the Heat's streak is worse than homosexuals getting married!" :madrun

It's made me re-think a lot of shit. I constantly worry about money and sometimes go hungry because of money problems(yes, I know it's sad and pathetic). I also cannot do things that I want to do that I was able to do in the past because of money issues. It's made me re-think the terrible decision it was to get a useless bachelor's degree in psychology and to borrow ridiculously large amounts of money to get a piece of paper that said I graduated from college. I also went to 3 different colleges too. Honestly, if I had the opportunity right now I would go work in a foreign country for a year or two. There's more to life than North Texas in my opinion. I feel like the elf Kirby in Rudolph sometimes. Go ahead and bash the shit out of this post and bash the shit out of me.

I'd rather them beat the record and then choke in the conference finals.

Each of those has such a small chance of happening that the odds of them both happening are miniscule. Can I get a money line on this?

since the record is 10 games away, the heat probably won't be gunning hard for it. if it was 2 or 3 games away, it might be worth pursuing for them. i don't think they'll reach 33 wins either. although it would be fun watching the lebron haters implode when it happens.

it all depends if they lose it'll be in the next 5 games. I give that a 50% chance. if they win next 5 games they are taking it, because they will actually be hustling instead of coasting.

so all in all I give it a 50% chance

Well, I know one thing: they ain't losing in Cleveland tomorrow night. Bron is swigging castor oil just so he can shit all over the Cavaliers, tbh.

Barely won the C's without KG (and Rondo), they will lose one of the following 10 games.

If they win against Cleveland, Detroit, Charlotte x2, Orlando, Chicago, Nawlins, SA, NY, Philly and Milwaukee they're gonna break it tbh.

I feel like at some point they gotta come back down to earth but everything possible is going for them at the moment. They got the most talented players and the most veteran saavy players to fill in here and there. They also play in a shitty conference and shitty division which allows them to avoid the grind of having to play the likes of Denver, SA, and Memphis in 3 or more meetings; not to mention the other WCF playoff teams which are arguably all at the level of Indiana or just slightly not as good.

It's gotta feel good to be a Miami Heat fan. Everything is literally being put on a platter. Props to them for reaching out and taking advantage.

I like the Spurs and Bulls' chances of ending it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hornets ended it.

I don't get the whole bashing me on the issue of gay marriage but whatever floats your boat. I voted for Gary Johnson. Just sayin'.

Superfriends barely beat the Cavs tonight and Lecrab had a triple double. This team is suppose to be a badass team? You serious? The streak is going to end. The Bulls and Spurs are the best hopes of ending the streak.

like we ever give two shits about the streak. retaining the NBA MF'N championship is the #1 on our prority list and the most important thing we care about tbh. the team was apparently tanking against cavs last night and still won the game. let bron alone, the rest of team only played at half strength and i believe they were intentionally playing bad to make bron look like a hero in front of the suckers who booed him tbh

heats winning streak is not impressive at all, beating fodder teams in the easts, barely beating the top western teams...hence even with there winning streak they are only 2 games ahead of the spurs...so tell me whats impressive about it?

Indeed, They only beat the Thunder, Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, Grizzlies during the streak, So nothing special. West is clearly overrated :rolleyes

Getting scared your team will go onto that list next week ? :lmao

I'm actually just kidding, it is HARD to win anything close to 15+ games in a row. At that point, and this is exactly how it is, the easy teams are just as hard to beat as the really good teams. Any team can break it on any given night.

:lol The haters are annoyed/scared about Miami, but they should relax. Miami will probably drop a game very soon. I'd like to predict when that would be, but my last predicted Miami loss didn't go in my favor this past Monday. I am more focused on the dominant playoff run they are going to have. The only way I see 16-2 record is if they they really shoot themselves in the foot. I expect 16-1 or even 16-0. This team is that good.

Laugh all you want. You guys are acting like the Heat already own the record. Until they win game number 33 in a row, they do not own the record. Thank you. And until they win game number 34 in a row, they don't own sole possession of the longest winning streak in NBA history.

those records are old as my grandma and the heat have every right to hold the pride. and why do you think kobe always acts like he's the best scorer of all time, while wilt's 100pts stands there in front of his 81?
