What's a good one? I love Google Reader and was looking for one simple like it. Anybody using one they like?

Prior to Flipboard, I used Pulse. Liked it too.

Looks just like the old Google Reader. I just wish they had apps, I do not like the magazine style apps like Flipboard.

Flipboard is not ideal if you subscribe to many feeds imo

I'm pulling 16 feeds across 3 pages....doesn't seem to be much of a problem.

I tried it, it looks nice but I prefer a different setup - i prefer a more basic layout like the Google Reader. I don't really care for Feedly either but it is nice too and has the kind of cross platform syncing my google reader clients do. I will probably end up clinging to what I have and just hope someone comes out with a nice API replacement.

I thought this is a pretty interesting article on this subject.

How long does it take to import my subscriptions? It's been like 4 hours still hasn't imported them.

I was using feedly but for whatever reason it won't play any podcast shows from smodcast.. I need my Tell 'em Steve-Dave. :cry

Feedly
That's what I got for my phone and tablet but they don't have a program. It's pretty bad ass though.

They have a Chrome and FF extension, easy to install.

They may still be getting hammered, I haven't tried it but like the layout.

Tried Feedly again this morning, I think I will stick with it for now - using full article layout with Chess theme. Syncing works perfectly.

I like it because it actually streams smodcast shows unlike feedly.. The wait for the import is gonna be a pain in the ass.. Just saw this:

There are 29360 users in the import queue ahead of you.

:lol:depressed

Guess i'll just manually import my subscriptions

I like Feedly extension for CHrome

1 thing I like is that when you are browsing, let's say Spurstalk, and click on the little transparent arrow on the bottom right of the screen, it gives you the website in a magazine-like layout

Fiddly is working pretty good. One minor issue is that I can't move a feed to a different category. I have to delete it first and then upload it again.

I just have them by site, which is how I had them in Google Reader anyway.

Blah I gave up on oldreader.com and tried out netvibes.com. It's pretty cool so far. Incredibly customizable, imported all of my feeds from Google Reader without a hitch and it even has a mobile version for the site for Android phones and Iphones. Oh and I'm using a free account which is good enough for me.

This is what it looks like (I changed the color).

*Hint: make sure to change it from widget -> reader in that part that I circled so it can look like that.

You are within first 1000 people in the import queue, your feeds should get imported shortly. Please be patient.

:lmao fuck this..

I'm using this now for podcasts:

and feedly for everything else

well the hackers - who are asking for a ransom - figured those 2 had a shitload of users and it would put pressure on the owners
