Let's hear 'em, faggots:
"We're tanking for the 8th seed to play the Spurs."
"We're still not healthy."
"We haven't figured it out yet."

Kobe is most disrespected star in the league. Stern hates him and he never gets calls other stars do!!

"it's a process"
"still searching for our big boy pants"
"nobody yelled at Kobe to tell him to stop isoing and chucking every possession in the last 2 minutes. furthermore nobody yelled at him to make his free throws either"
Pau is still rusty
The spacing has been compromised
Everybody deferred to Kobe in crunch time
We still can't defend 3s

Don't think you land 16 without his tip in against PHX and two clutch treys against Boston though.
That said he's been useless after the 2010 run.

Not debating that, we also wouldn't have 16 without Ron Artest's heroics in game 7 when Kobe shot like crap. But there's a point as a franchise you have to let go of the old dogs.

It would be stolen if it was the same thing but instead he changed the words up as a counter to the original poster's joke. Thus he added his own personal touch which I thought was nice thus a nice touch, fuckin' idiot (see what I did there, I added my own nice touch)

they're fooling themselves if they think they're tanking or shit. mavs ain't too far behind and their performances have been on a rise. lakers will do their best to ensure themselves a playoff seat first of all imho

The Lakers are indeed hurting, but this shit is on Daaaawhite and D'Antoni. That skinning-and-grinning moron is supposed to be the best center in the league, the next great Laker big whose jersey is gonna be hanging "up there," and he can't even score double figures against Aron Baynes? And then he gets mindfucked into an ejection when his team needs him most? Can't blame that on injuries.
On D'Antoni's end, a good coach would figure out a way to a least win a game with a frontline that boasts two of the best bigs in the league, regardless of what kind of D-league trash is surrounding them. And even if that's a stretch, at least find a way to not lose by double digits every game. But D'Antoni is clueless when he can't fun-and-gun, so I guess that's expecting too much.

It was clearly the injuries. I think if going into the series, the Spurs probably would have won but it would have definitely been a helluva lot closer. You take away the Spurs four best guards, starting small forward and leave Timmay practically by himself, they would have the same fate as my squad.
Nonetheless, there's plenty of problem with the Lakers and it's going to take some time before they are fixed.
