Who's the fail on? Would have been nice if he pulled the gun right when the kids jumped out of the car. Or at least shot their tires before he went back to his car.

This is a good example of a bully vs those who actually kick ass. He threw a punch and kept running his mouth. The kids got out of the truck with bad intentions and wore his ass smooth out. They didn't talk back or hesitate...they fucked him up...slammed his ass and waited for him to come back for more.

He also has to prove that a reasonable person would feel his life is in danger, which is pretty impossible to do when he came back after the incident was over to shoot out the back window. That isn't the behavior of someone who feels that his life is in danger.

We'll see, but his big problem is that he got out of the truck and was aggressive with the gun, walking towards the teens.
Had he stayed in the truck, his self defense case would be much more solid.
I think the wife's charges are much more likely to get dropped.

His problem there is pointing the gun at them and walking towards their car to scare them as they were leaving and saying "Lets get out of here" to each other.

Even though the video cuts off the gun fire, it's damning evidence that the incident was over before he used the gun in a provoking sense. Now had he shot the 2 guys while in the brawl after he provoked the fight would be a whole different monster.

I dont know man, I think theres a pretty big difference between an old mans strength and a teenager-early 20s guy strength. If the old man knows what hes doing and throws some punches of his own I think the force behind them is just plain stronger most of the time. Age has nothing to do with it. If your theory were correct, old men would be winning titles in boxing and MMA.
There is alot of movement around the ring in sports, so speed is pretty important. Its alot different than a fight out on the street imo.
