Talk amongst yourselves.

Surely Jerry has an active living culture happening inside him right now.

Put your "Ls" up... the Lakers are.

if there is one thing I love about this site, i'm not alone in my warped views.

misery loves company.

as for your query, least Buss went out banging away til the end. unlike Culbern, Buss was actually a trend setter.
Lakers are basically impotent and only on life support because of their Jewish fairy Godfather, Stern.

LOL Lakers; their future is Mike D'Antoni and Jim Buss. Now all Jimmy has to do is hire Isiah next to cement his status as West-Coast Dolan.

Without Jim Buss I'm holding the dirty end of the 4-3 stick with your Duncan and there ain't no shit bag, old or otherwise. Fuck, I ain't even here. It was Jim Buss that insisted they draft Bynum. It was Jim Buss who overruled the entire hierarchy & Kobe refusing to trade Bynum.

But, that don't fit the already writ story by Media. You got your marching orders & talking points and you march & talk.

You intentionally ignore the real reason, but you cannot ignore the stats. Bynum is the lower one btw... Pau is the top.

These are career playoff stats. Yes the Lakers were gifted a top tier big man with a history of performing in the playoffs.

You intentionally ignore the real reason, but you cannot ignore the stats. Bynum is the lower one btw... Pau is the top.

These are career playoff stats. Yes the Lakers were gifted a top tier big man with a history of performing in the playoffs.

There's going to be some intellectually dishonest response to this about how Kobe already won 3 before Pau while Pau hadn't won a playoff game without Kobe.

Notice the anomaly in the GP column. You can see where Shaq arrived and where he left, and where Pau arrived and where he stopped giving a shit. Despite Kobe's fool's gold scoring, the GP is the tell tale. It would be even more obvious if the row for 2005 was shown, where you'd see a 0 for games played. No Shaq or Pau.

This year could be the icing on the cake, and writers will always show the correlation between dominant big and playoff games in the career of Kobe Bean Bryant, and they will preface with "Smoke and Mirrors?"

Phil came to Shaq. He left when Shaq left. Then he came to Pau. Kobe played without Phil for a few years, and we know the results.

No, you're wrong. The Spurs history is more closely tied to George Gervin than with Tim Duncan. Other than newly found fans, many of whom have since bolted, the Spur fan recalls Gervin, Silas, Moore and those guys. They then recall Sean, David, Terry, Willie, Rod, and Avery, and later down the road Tim. Tim is the best Spur ever, but he's hardly the beginning of the Spurs history.

CROFL marching orders; the jackass hired D'Antoni. You'd be a better coach for that team than Pringles. Your parrot catchphrases are way more intelligent than his substitution patterns and defense.

Nonsense.

"I love Dr. (Jerry) Buss. I don't believe in Jim Buss," Johnson said on ESPN's "NBA Countdown" on Wednesday night. "He's made two critical mistakes already. To me, they made two critical mistakes.
"First, hiring Mike Brown -- he wasn't the right coach. He's a great coach but not the right coach for the Lakers. And I don't feel Mike D'Antoni is the right coach for the Lakers. Especially when you have Phil Jackson sitting out there, who wanted to be the Laker coach. Jim Buss decided he didn't want Phil Jackson, he wanted Mike D'Antoni. And that's OK, but why didn't you just say that? But the fans were cheering for Phil Jackson two nights in a row."

Denial is for old dried up snatches and pedos.

Jim Buss insisted on drafting Bynum and Jim Buss chronologically refused to deal Bynum. Without Bynum we don't ring in '09. And we don't ring in '10. That don't match the pails of tar & feather that Media has Jim Buss' name on but, I ain't Media's fart-catcher. No.

Your take is shitty to say the least. I've shown you the stats and the facts. Your fandom cannot be justified in this case, so you can plead nolo contendre. Pau >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bynum. Sans Pau, you don't reach the Finals in 08, and no rings in the next two years. Bynum did not do that for you. He's no more important to your rings than Nazr Muhammed was to ours. Probably not as important tbh.

A non-biased non-sports statistician could conclude that Kobe cost the Lakers at least two rings. Here you and your ilk credit him with 5.

There's a reason Buss is an easy target. You're playing the same card as the ref card now, it's called the "media card". When one of your greatest, if not the greatest ever calls him out, you gotta give in. Your take isn't more solid than Magic Johnson's on Jim Buss. You don't even know the guy.

You're handily defeated here. Putting your fingers in your hairy ears and singing isn't going to change what's still real in the world outside your nicotine tinted windows.

Magic Johnson has been wrong in the past, recklessly so. He's no sage.

Before Bynum rang they crucified Jim Buss for him, they muddied the waters when Kobe insisted they trade Bynum. After Bynum rang twice, they don't want to talk about it no more. Because the facts didn't fit the story. They can do that "there." Here? No. I'm back and I'm riding rough-shod.

For as much as it pained you to log in and read my complete and utter disrespect for your dead mom who suffered from cancer in tremendous pain before she died it pained me as much to actually write it. I did so with the hope that you would at least respect your own mother enough and what she went through as a spring board to respecting other people who died of the same disease (ala dr. Buss)

You are literally too old to be acting like such a twit...you've been divorced, have grown kids, suffered through your own mom dying so stop acting like a petulant fat child.
