Missed threes, turnovers and crappy refs were a combination of an awful night.

The call doesn't change anything. We saw exactly everything that is wrong with the Spurs.

Good luck getting past the 2nd round, tbh.

Missed most of the game. Why was Bonner closing out the game?

Pop being outcoached by Spoelstra. I just can believe this shit.

Why? He got out coached by Brooks.

Only Duncan and Leonard were consistent. Everyone else pretty much shit the bed.

spurs trolled, heat showed how to beat a team without their big 2 plus chalmers :lol

yeah spurs should of blown out the heat but you have to blame this on the refs......and im afraid this is not going to stop either........its goning to travel into the play offs...spurs don't have a chance at all with the refs screwing things up

If they come out flat in third quarters, make stupid plays, waste possessions, get numerous shot clock violations, don't pass to each other, and leave games close, they get what they deserve tbh.

TD had some craptacular turnovers throughout the game, though that led to points for the Heat. His passing was just horrendous today.

:lol blaming the refs for losing to the Heat without Lebron and Wade is pathetic, tbh..

The game should have never been this close..

Yup. This is as embarassing as it gets - for Pop, for Parker(he's supposed to be our first option, right?), for the whole team.

SA hasn't looked good in weeks - every recent game has been close and it was only a matter of time until they lost one. We just don't have the iso talent to win against the top teams.

It's too bad Harden went to the Rockets because no team has a chance against the Heat. Thunder will try in the Finals but will fall short like last year.

BatManu20
03-31-2013, 08:24 PM
What say you now? If not for that play, the game's tied.

I say the game should never have been close in the first place. If you can't beat a team that's missing their 2 best players and another goo role player on your home court, you deserve to lose.

spurs went to miami and didn't let any stars play to close the game in the closing moments. heat come to town and let bosh and allen play. plenty of star to close this one.

03-31-2013, 08:26 PM
Duncan takes a poor shot on one end and then loses bosh on the defense. oh well
Duncan can't guard two people at once.

Game shouldn't have been close enough for the refs to matter.

so does timvp give Parker his requisite B- for choking, playoffesque performance?

What we saw tonight was worse than playoff Parker. At least playoff Parker can get twenty points on low efficiency. This was an early glimpse of TOSB Parker - expect more of this in the coming years.

No one is, no point in watching the playoffs this year. Even the Lakers w/ Phil Jackson didn't look this invincible in the regular season. I thought Spoelstra was supposed to be an average coach at best?!?

It's embarassing to have to rely on "balanced" officiating just so we can cling to a win at home against a short-handed team missing the best player in the NBA and the other guy missing being a top 20 player in the league. The Heat have now basically cinched up homecourt throughout the playoffs and barring injuries (based on today, they'd still make the finals if Lebron and Wade decided to rest until the Finals) to their Big 2 in the Finals, have a 98% shot to repeat as champions.

That was pretty fucking horrible. The refs literally just gave the Heat the game... completely and utterly craptacular.

this is why I wanted Nando to have more minutes, his court vision is exceptional and instinctive. if Parker's athleticism tapers off......then you see the trainwreck tonight.

The Knicks swept the Spurs 2-0, the under. 500 Blazers beat them 2-1 including losing to them by 30 on their own floor.

How the fuck is this team 1st in the West?

Wow, total embarrassment. No excuses. Do not blame the refs, do not blame anyone but the Spurs themselves. When guys named Wade and James do not show up for a big game and still have their team dominate the Spurs, it turns into a mockery for the home team. Also, add the fact that the home crowd was VERY WEAK tonight during the majority of the game and ONLY woke up at the very end. Very sad to not see that excitement and to hear Wade/James fans (not Heat fans) out classing our own fans at our own court. Very embarrassing, no energy, and no victory. That is what happens when a home team takes another team for granted. For our guys to win/lose a game decided by a final shot that past fives games is showing that the Spurs are not where they need to be at. They are struggling thus far since Parker's last injury. Too many isolation plays (not Spurs' basketball). All of the ball sharing has deminished.

Only Kawhi really nutted up for today's game, dunking all the over the place and making things happen on both ends of the floor. Wasted effort and pathetic loss against the Heat's B team.

I really wanna know, is Spoelstra that great of a coach? Everyone was calling him Mike Brown Jr. for the past 3 years and now all of a sudden he's even more invincible than Phil Jackson.

What the fuck is going on here?!?

This was my original point
Unfortunately at games end Green ends up matched with Allen and doesnt switch like hes supposed to. A wide open Bosh 3
Green died a thousand deaths out there on defense tonight and the last one lost the game

I only watched the last 3 mins of the game, so I can't really say much. But what i saw was horrible execution and bad ball movement, especially when Tony was trying to force the issue. Since Tony's injury we've really been playing bad basketball. We have gotten away with it, but as it shows against good teams, it's not gonna work. A lot of things to clean up with only 9 games to go.

This happens every game down the stretch, the thing is this time the other team hit their shot to win it. O Gets stagnant and ISO and bad shots, thats what happens now. I agre a TON to clean up with 9 games left, stumble tomorrow night and in OKC and kiss that #1 SEED GOODBYE.

Should've been a W for the Spurs with LeBron and Wade out, but it's becoming increasingly clear that the MIAMI HEAT will REPEAT and probably THREEPEAT.

The West teams are just playing for the right to get swept by Miami in the Finals.

The Heat might still win it all if Wade decided to be a cheerleader the rest of the way. Maybe they'd do it so the Finals will draw more ratings to make things interesting. Teams will forever regret the day Miami bought Lebron and Bosh and bought their way to raping the league.

I will be shocked if they make it as far as they did last year, they might only because the West is pretty weak outside of OKC and a few others after that. I know the East is pretty weak too outside of Miami, but it just shows the NBA nowadays is watered down! Thats why the Spurs etc. can win so many games because the league quite frankly sides a few teams sucks right now.

Spurs were passingg the ball a lot, but it seemed pointless, other than wanting to unload a hot potato, was terrible offense.

Spurs rely on 3Gs, and they were cold tonight.
