Bonner with the crunchtime D to be honest. 3 point plays given up, layups, offensive rebounds off free throws. If Pop had the nuts to play Baynes a bit more up until this point, he might have been able to trust him in moments like this.
on TP's last possession (not with 0.6 left) Bonner even stumbled while trying to set a f'n screen, then parker had to iso

If tp pass the ball to bonner, bonner bricks it because this is what he do and you will have posted, fuck Parker deferring to Matt bonner...

Thanks to the ball hogger (TP9) for losing the game tonight. When he was sitting down, the Spurs always had a lead. There was solid ball movement and we maintained our lead the entire time. Until ball hogger had to come and ruin it just to score 20-something points. Pop should have given him the night off because he looks gassed. He'll NEVER be like Westbrook. That idiot.
Liked the content regardless. More Nando at Sg to help the ball movement would be nice.
Also Boris and Sjax are gonna be big in the PO imo.

I'd rather have J.Vaughn playing defense and scoring 2pts then those 2 crap players making 3s and f**** our defense game after game after game
Yep. People complain about the Turd Towers and the bigs we have, but SG is where we need an upgrade. Sadly, our best SG is sitting on the bench with his glass anatomy.

Nah not me. I'd rather an open 3 from a great 3 point shooter than Parker fading with 2 guys in his face. I'm sure others would've said that, but not me.
Just mental mistakes down the stretch that screwed this team again.

Neal was blowing assignments all night long, the play where jax had to scramble on the floor in the last 2 minutes was because gary was out of position, he makes a few shots and people love his ability to create his own shot but then he's only always looking for himself case in point 2 on 1 with Jax. If I'm Stak I'm shanking that fucker in the locker room.

Well they had the game in their hands. A few bonehead plays made it easy for Memphis. They should've won this game and they choked it away. Had a chance to redeem themselves after last nights debacle and totally blew it.

Green has actually been one of our most consistent players this year, and Neal actually had a solid performance today. I'm glad Bonner and Blair aren't in the regular rotation, but they played a combined 39 minutes today. Bonner was our center in crunchtime because Tiago fouled out (that loose ball foul got me irate. he was being hugged for shits sake), and they got a game winning layup. not so sure our SG's are to blame today

We should be fine in the first round, whoever we play. I'm actually really glad we have Green, who's a pretty steady player. Not sure if he should be defending point guards, but at least he's not an undersized 2, like much of the NBA has, and he's become one of the league's best shooters. Glad we locked him up. Neal is another story, but he likely won't be back after this season, especially with Nando playing much better as of late, and the likelihood of some team throwing money at Neal

Kawhi is going to have most of those late game defensive assignments tbh. As well as Tim instead of Bonner.

Gary leaving him wide open when down by 3 was 10x more stupid tbh.

#1 is what pisses me off about the guy the most. He's so consistently selfish even Kobe would call him a ballhog and at least that rapist has a reason to hog the ball. But I know there are alot of Spurs fans out there who absolutely love the guy and it's only because of that one game winner two freakin' years ago against the Grizzlies that didn't end up meaning anything and he hasn't been that clutch ever since anyways. The guy is a poor defender, undersized for the position he plays, has terrible offensive awareness, uncooperative with teammates, and his one positive in shooting ability is overrated. His FG % has gone down each year and he's barely hovering at 40% for the season now. Give his shot attempts to De Colo and De Colo would do more with them. He's as useless as Bonner, tbh.
