For me it has to be the when we played the Mavs in the playoffs in 2003 where we had that amazing comeback with Kerr going crazy behind the line.

For me it was Game 7 vs New Orleans and Chris Paul a few years ago. The Hornets took a 3-2 lead in the series, and the media was ready to anoint Chris Paul as the best PG ever and pronounce the Spurs gone for good (both of which they ended up doing anyways) but I was SO relieved when the Spurs won that series. I hated Chris Paul back then, because I always perceived him as a dirty player and an arrogant little punk. Now things have mellowed down a bit, but back then that series was intense and the rivalry between Parker/Paul with the media in between backing Paul just made that Game 7 victory the sweetest victory of all time. I still don't like all the attention Paul gets. I hope we beat that little jerk again. Sweeping them last season was just awesome.

Regular season: Manu leads the Spurs back from 17 down in the 4th at Phoenix

Playoffs(no Finals): Tied, Memorial Day Miracle, 2003 WCF Game 6 in Dallas where Kerr and Jackson went apeshit

Ooh forgot my actual favorite... ending the Lakers bid for a 4-peat in 2003 WCSF Game 6 in LA.

2003 game 6 vs Lakers. Timmy dueling Shaq. Kobe crying, end of the 3peat.
Manu in 04 by himself taking the Lakers to 2OT
Tim's 3 pointer against Phoenix. Finley 3 to force OT, Tim 3 to force 2OT. I believe Duncan dropped 40 in that game. Awesome game 1.
Kerr's 3 point parade against Dallas
The substantial sanctions game too, tbh

Kawhi leading the charge against the Bulls might turn out to be a big one. Was Leonard's real coming out party. If he turns out to be as good as we hope one day, that will be the game I look back on.

For the regular season, the 2005 OT victory over PHX when Manu scored 48 points and the Spurs came back from 17 down in the 4th quarter. Brent Barry was also great in that game. Parker was useless, IIRC.

It has to be the Memorial Day Miracle for me. Game 1 vs. the Suns in 2008 is a close second. The MDM was an epic moment, but that Suns game was an epic game.

Knowing the Spurs tendencies I was absolutely certain the Lakers were going to make a huge run and come back to win the game... when they held the big lead all the way I was so damn proud. When the game was over I was acting like we just won the championship. Awesomely a few weeks later we did.

Memorial Day Miracle was the best game I've ever witnessed, I get chills just thinking about that shot Sean hit. A close second is game 6 in 2003 against the Mavs. Steve Kerr went bonkers.

1. Memorial Day Miracle
2. Game 6 vs Dallas (2003)
3. Game 6 vs Lakers (The crying game)
4. Tim Duncan's playoff road game as a rookie in Phoenix (Game 1?) He went off in the 2nd half and schooled everyone.
5. Manu's reg season game against Phoenix where he scored 48 pts
6. 20+ point deficit Comeback win over the Rockets in the Alamo Dome. It was a nationally televised NBC game in the afternoon and Mario Elie hit the winning 3 against his former team. Gave them the kiss of death.

P.S> You could start a thread with most memorable Finals games.
My picks:

1. OT win at Detroit (Game 5)
2. Game 7 vs Pistons (Comeback win) * Saw in person
2. Game 6 vs Nets (Comeback win / Tim almost got a quadruple double / Admirals last game) * Saw in person
3. Game 5 vs Knicks (Closeout win: 1st Ring)
4. Game 4 vs Cleveland (I don't remember much except Lebron getting SWEPT)

So many others to consider....Manu going off on the road against Cleveland in February 2008. He scored 40 + pts. Man, those were the days.

2005 WCSF game 6. Timmy spraining his ankle in the closing minutes. the bitchass sonics fans cheering his injury. i'll never forget tim walking it off all the way past half court before he shot the freethrows. The icing on the cake was tim hitting the game winning lay-up to close that dump down. great game

Favorite in person was the MDM, with David Robinson's first NBA game second. For favorite non-Finals win it's a toss-up between the MDM and the crying game (that gif of you crumpling up and throwing the asterisks behind Walton and Nessler in the postgame still kills me, Russ :lol)

My favorite Phoenix memory is game 2 of the 05 WCF when the Suns made a big comeback in the fourth, Nash hit a dagger three to give them the lead and made it look like they were about to even the series... then Rob sticks a three on the next shot, Manu goes behind his back for a layup the next possession, the next possession Manu does that step/slide back jumper he used to be famous for, and game over. :lol

Game 2003 WCSF's. All other contending teams gave up, the Blazers, even the Kings. The Spurs with the Admiral on his last legs and only one super star vs Lakers two, had no chance. Apparently, the Lakers were sure to win in LA and the series was to be decided in SA. The Spurs took the lead, but Phil's squads always rallied back at the end of 3rd and 4th quarters. The Spurs obliterated the Lakers at that time, a complete surprise. LA fans gave their team a standing ovation, Kobe and Fish started crying.

The Spurs teams used to lose big leads. Not anymore after that game. The players got swagger, the Spurs started winning almost always when they were expected to.

I agree, except the Spurs blew a big 4th quarter lead in game one against Dallas and had a 17 pt lead at home in game 5 and lost it! They did still blow big leads after that spite that swagger they got! They toyed around and lost those two games which were just laughable IMO because Dallas never outplayed them in games that series and it could have been a sweep instead of a 6 game series.

My fave though is from that same series, game 6 in Dallas down by 13 going into the 4th, then Jax and Kerr happened! My fave game I watched.

bruce bowen hitting that 3 on the suspension game against PHX 2007 WCSF. we trailed the whole game, and he hit that 3 to put us up with like 1 min left in the 4th. never felt guilty bout the suspensions b/c PHX controlled that game up till the last min despite being out amare and diaw. it was theirs to lose and they spilled it at the last second, imo.

the game fin went like 8/9 from 3 against the nuggets round 1 2007 playoffs.

the clippers game in LA last season when gary neal stole CP3s pass and popped a 3 to force OT at the last second. haha. that was prob the best we lost>holy shit were still alive game ive seen in a while.

the lakers game where RMJ gave kobe the huevos dance, damn RMJ was sick that first season with all those game winners. PHX on x-mas day 3 at the buzzer, clippers game, and the lakers and 1 gamewinners.

batmanu on halloween night 2010? was classic.

the mcdyess last second tip in against the lakers in LA was a miracle. thought about that game when green hit the 3 to ice the game in LA this season, kinda reminded me of that tip in. we've stolen some games in staples.

the week when manu had the game winners vs MIL and DEN and was just unstoppable. the @ DEN gamewinner was an absolute joke of a circus shot that just curly-cued right on in the bucket. the MIL shot was a sick jumper.

Game 6 Finals 2003
Last few moments when they took DRob out and he jump in the air spinning- tears came to my eyes
While everybody remembers the memorial day miracle- I vividly remember the subsequent two games
Game 3 tight 3rd quarter Tim Duncan in foul trouble and the Spurs broke open the game with Dave playing great D. I remember him blocking a Sabonis hook.
Game 4 at the end the team wasn't celebrating wildly, but very quietly low key hugs and bumps- almost like- good job- let's get back to work.
I was at Game 4 against the Bullets in the 79 ECF the Spurs won and took a commanding 3-1 lead Finals here we come.......
