Last year I really thought the game was simply beyond him, similar to "Big Game" James Anderson. Wow, after the Orlando game last night I find myself thinking he could be an X factor if he gets enough playing time between now and the end of the season. He is able to penetrate and hit that deadly floater, drawing the defense in. I am really impressed with the Spurs' development strategy. It doesn't always work, i.e. The James Anderson Experiment, but wow. Let's hope they keep working on his shooting stroke. There's a lot of hidden development tasks concerning defense, etc. I noticed it against the Clippers. As good as Jamal Crawford is as an iso offensive player, his defense was so putrid that Matt Barnes yelled at him during the game, Crawford looked like a rookie sometimes on the defensive end. So holding back these guys and getting them experience in the D-League is likely paying huge dividends, some of them not immediately obvious.:lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2:
