I'd love to see Kawhi and Baynes be the face of the Spurs after Duncan left(I'm sure Manu would be gone by that time, too). What if Baynes became a dominate rebounder? That'd be awesome.

But back to Kawhi, the guy is awesome. Great player, he will have his time to shine.

Kawhi has a much higher ceiling but Baynes has a pretty good shot at being a 15 and 10 guy which is not shabby especially if his overall defense improves.

No. Pekovic is a strong rebounder but his scoring is mostly from dishes from rubio and shved. I think he can be better than pekovic.

Baynes has a jumpshot
his go to move seems to be a faceup jumpshot that he gets into really quick even when a defender is on him
and he has the size and athleticism to finish around the basket
ceiling is higher then the Turds combined and way higher then the passive Boris who handicaps the offense

Baynes ceiling is Pekovic.

Goldstandard good call on Baynes ceiling. I believe Pekovic is averaging 16 and 9.

Amazing prospect, seems like a great guy too. Hope he's with us long term :)
