Tim because I'm a spurs fan.
Tim and Roy Hibbert are both anchoring elite defenses and are both putting up awesome defensive numbers. Although Larry Sanders is pretty amazing, I think he does get a bit of a penalty for not being on a great defensive team, similar to how MVP candidates are always from elite teams. The Bucks aren't even a top 10 defensive team. The way the Spurs defense completely crumbles when Tim leaves the court is enough of a selling point to me

LeBron.
It's going to be Larry Sanders because of his blocks, or a Denver guy (you know who). Howard might get it as a "fuck you" to the rest of the NBA fans from the NBA Illuminati.
Tim could conceivably get it as well, but I doubt it, because he's a Spur and Pop has pretty much galvanized the media and other teams' offices against them.

spurs ain't a defensive elite team any more. a rejuvenated duncan deserves some honor like an appearance in the all-NBA first team but he's not remotely the best defender in the league today imho. bulls are the best defensive team this season so i believe noah deserves this prize more than anyone.

I think Tim will get it. He's actually been getting respect from the media this year.

I chose Kobe because a lot of his cult members have been taking it hard lately, so I figured I would vote for the 9 x All-Defensive First Team player, since other than the block on Lebron, they haven't had much else to celebrate.

Duncan via complete homer pick. No one stands out defensively this year, and he has never won the award. Career achievement award.
:lol Easy answer. Kobe Bryant.
Reasoning?

bulls are the 7th D this year (huge step back from last year) while the spurs are third.

unfortunately Lebron will probably get it.
yeah it should go to Duncan thou. Gasol needs a little work and Sanders is just too green
and before someone calls homer, take a look at the Spurs without Duncan on the floor. They are one flapping gaping vagina
Tim Duncan deserves it, without a doubt. He should probably get 2 for all the years both he and Bowen got stiffed, like that year Camby's corpse got it after only playing 50 games or something.

Duncan is leading the league in defensive rating.

Duncan should get it but at this point it's probably just a running gag among voters to never give it to him.

Dikembe Mutombo's geico commercial sealed the deal for him. He's winning it.

Why would Sanders get it based on blocks when he doesn't even lead the league in blocks?
Lebron's going to get MVP. I sincerely doubt they will give him both MVP and DPOY, no matter how "elite" the Heat's defense is.
With that assumption, I think it's down to Duncan and Sanders.
