I agree. This list is flawed. I'm just reporting the facts of the article.

Just a heads up, the metric used in the article (Wins Produced) likes players who

shoot the ball well
rebound well
pass well and don't turn the ball over

So it hates Melo because his TS%, while good, isn't LeBron/Durant great;
He rebounds well for an SF - but he's been playing PF;
his AST/TO ratio doesn't look good, even if he gets a ton of hockey assists.

Carmelo, Dirk and Joe Johnson are excellent players. Gay and Kaman are good too.

LOL Forbes. No wonder the finance sector was able to take down our economy when that's the kind of analysis they provide.

When u just use a random stat plus salaries u get a shitty list.

IMO this list shows just how jacked the old CBA was. most of these bloated salaries are a direct result of the ridiculous built in raises that players were allowed to get.

most (not all) of the players on that list had pretty reasonable salariess for the first few years if the contracts.

So let me get this straight.

Tyrus Thomas, aka Stromile Jr., makes more than Aaron Afflalo and produces way less, makes the same as Chris Kaman, and produces way less, yet Tyrus Thomas couldn't make the list? The guy has had more DNP Coach's Decision games than actual good games this season.

DeSagana Diop makes $7 million this season too.

Carmelo is the only reason the Knicks have 50 wins and not be stuck at the bottom of the coference

It's shit. If you don't get the 16 after the first 82 games yer shinin' shoes with the other 28 in last place.

Kirby makes the Lakers billions tbh. He's worth every penny. He's a cancer to the game itself, but he's a golden goose.

Where as you'll just be broke your entire life, living in a 200sqft pad with 3 other wankers like yourself, walking to the bus stop to get to your job at the kiosk.

stopped reading as soon as i saw dirk on that retarded list tbh. mavs would've finished on the upper half of the playoff table had dirk played the entire season as he usually did previous years. dirk rarely relies on athleticism so it's safe to assume that dude still has a few good years ahead of him imho.

And how about Melo or Dirk ? Big market teams best players. They also make their team owners millions. But this rank was about basketball value, by wins shared stat. So Kirby should be here. He`s value, basketball wise, isnt worth 30 mil

When have the Mavs even made a profit? When has Melo made his teams more money?

Kobe is loved/hated the most of any NBA player, even more than Lebron because Kobe's had years to get going.

I don't know anyone who would buy a ticket to see SA play Dallas just because Dirk is playing. Same with NY and Melo. People will buy tickets to see Kobe lose.

How many "Melo" threads are on this forum? How many "Dirk" threads? Now how many Kobe threads?

I rest my case.

dirk's the reason why fans are still watching their games imho. they're all mavs fans rather than fans of dirk himself, don't get me wrong, but dirk is like the only relic of their glorious years. i doubt fans would give two more shits about them mavs than the pelicans or kings w/o dirk on board tbh

Wrong about dem Mavs again. Most fans have followed the path you have chosen tbh..they now rather root for the 6'8 POS than their *champion Mavs

but you still see tens of thousands of fans attending AAC for mavs games. most dallas citizens have faith in their team, otherwise they would've also become spurs fans since before 06 tbh

No - they have lost faith and even turned on Dirk and that dude OJ who they loved before.
