I know they both suck but with Diaw sidelined for at least the next 3 weeks who do you think the Spurs should use as the 3rd big in the playoffs? Bonner or Blair? Obviously 1 of them is going to have to play some pretty serious minutes.

Against GS, Blair because he'd be going up against bigs that have little to no offensive game (if Bogut is sidelined by his ankle). Against Houston Matt Bonner because his floor spacing ability will open the floor better for Tony and Manu who we will need to depend upon much more than usual.

I go with Bonner. He does space the floor and he is better defensively than he used to be. Not that that's saying much, but he really is better now than a couple of years ago.

Blair can't space the floor and although he is tougher physically than Bonner he just can't make good decisions with the ball.

Sigh... Blair. Better rebounder, passer. Less of a choke job on offense. Although against the Lakers, I'd go with Bonner for his, smh, size. Blair would get dominated by pau at both ends. Blair is a decent matchup against teams without 2 legit scoring bigs, like Houston, OKC. Honestly Tiago just has to play better and 30 mpg and we will see more Jax at the 4.

This scenario is exactly why Baynes should have been brought along with about 10mpg or so. Oh well, don't want to :deadhorse

Depends on the opponent/the potential matchups and on who of the two will perform better (or less bad) than the other when given the opportunity.

Depends on the circumstances but I'd have to say Blair?? No, Bonner? Shit, no Blair?

As shitty as Blair is, at least he doesn't take his level of sucking to a whole new level in the playoffs like Bonner does so I choose Blair.

But for me, Jack should be the back-up 4.

Jack>>>>>Blair>>Bonner

Play Jack at the 4 and hope Diaw is back soon.

Combination of Jack and Matty Ice. Unless another big man goes down there is no reason why Blair should see anything other than garbage minutes in the playoffs.
