Sacramento has lost 4 out of 5, Spurs have lost 4 out of 6..

Spurs beat them by 28 in their last matchup and have won 25 of the last 27 games vs. the Kings..

There will be a massive meltdown if the Spurs lose this game, and possibly even a mini-meltdown if the game is close at the end:lol..

:lol tbh, at this point with all the shitty news we've had the past few weeks, a Kings loss wouldn't even bother me. I didn't even care about the Nuggets loss.

At this point, I just want our team to be healthy. Our toughness dropped a bit, but maybe Jack's departure will refocus the team if he really caused drama behind the scenes.

FUCK that, we need some hairs on our balls as of late, especially since the latest news. It's time to play like you would in the playoffs and keep it running.

I'm predicting a blowout; I won't be watching and the 4 games I haven't watched this season have been blowouts of the other teams.. Maybe I won't watch the playoffs.

In times like these, it's important to remember: at least we're not Lakers fans.

This one will go down to the wire, I predict.

This game just got more interesting.

Obviously Bill and Sean may be a bit conservative about Stephen Jackson, but I wonder what they will say. Plus if Jack was causing so many problems, I wonder if we will see a more focused Spurs team tonight.

It is Sean's version of name-dropping. 'Watch how important I am that I know these things.'

I think the little they did say pretty much laid it off on Jackson. Not surprising, given who pays their salaries.

DeColo is getting ripped by refs. He was fouled all over the place on the way down last trip and they never call it, but he gets lots of calls for fouls that are non-calls for other players. I guess it is because he is a rookie for the nba, but he has done a pretty good job of keeping his cool out there and not turning it over when they are fouling him as he is bringing it up the court.

Tony has yet to attempt a shot. Practically speaking he'll have to average around 15+ FGA per game in the playoffs. He might as well start now so the role players get used to it.

HarlemHeat37
04-12-2013, 08:14 PM
Bench is night/day when they are playing with Parker or Duncan..hoping the shortened rotation will help alleviate the bench issues, tbh..

Hopefully Leonard plays with the bench when Parker sits in the playoffs, ideally with Ginobili..

Tp is back and splitter is not sucking anymore

Yeah. I'm still confused as to why people were surprised that Splitter was sucking with Tony out. He was going to wide open spots on the floor when Tony was out. The problem was Nando or Gary weren't getting him the ball because they were overly conservative.

You can't score if you don't get the ball. He was relegated to isolation plays in the post, which he's OK at but that's never been his forte.

Neal and Kawhi combined for a total of 0 for 7 on three point shots. The only three pointers we have are the ones by Bonner and Green. Sacramento is something like 6 of 13 on threes and we are 2 of 9. Think we could change that a bit in the second half?

More shots for Green, have Leonard run a couple isos, hope Neal decides to show up, and let the O come to Bonner.

Splitter 7pts/5rebs/4ast/stl/blk

Duncan and Green each had two turnovers as well. Splitter had none.

With a couple more inches and functional ACLs, he'd be looking at $4M/year. Unfortunate for him.

Yeah and thats a pretty tall order to fill in the offseason I mean most guys DB45 age are already fully growned and usually can not grow a couple inches but you never know oh and I also herd that Kobe got feti injected into his knees in Germany (Deustchland I used to live there) so maybe Blairy could go get those this summer and then come get his millions you never know with technology these days anyways he is playing good/well against the Queens tonite so happy for him

Well hey lets not give up on him just yet I mean yeah ok his contract expires next year but maybe the Spurs resign him you never no he could come back and with SJax gone and Diaw always injured and Tim getting old he could be a good one to hang onto I mean he even developed a nice jumper this year which is going in all the time he hit 1 tonite so yeah I could totally see us bringing DB45 next year even though most of spurstalk.com posters/trolls hate him even when he plays good/well like tonite.

I don't know about that. It would be good to see how shortening the season by 10 games would affect the league financially. 70 games is a lot of games, regardless. The extra 12 or so are meaningless to me. If a team can't get their shit right in a matter of 70 games, they shouldn't be offered an additional 10-12 games to make up ground.

As is the case this year with many teams suffering from injuries to important players, a deduction of 12 games from the long grueling grind of the regular season would pay some dividends. This year's playoffs will suffer from those injuries rendering a lower quality product. This can't be more truer for the East who's decimated by injuries while superteam Miami runs rough shod with their ridiculously potent "role" players.
