spurs used that alot in the past years like everytime they fell short in the 2nd round or WCF it was becacuse of the injury to manu or duncan. but this season the mavs have been playing with the injury card more often than anyone. i have no doubt that they would've probably finished top4 had dirk played the entire season healthy, but is it really necessary to repeat "water is wet" 3 times each and every day?

An excuse is not a excuse when it really happen. I mean, almost the entire Spurs roster lost games due to injuries. Excuse? I don't think so.
Miami fans cant use the injury excuse, OKC also cant. Noone gets injured.

Injury excuse example:
Kobe is injured....otherwise the Lakers would have won the championship.

Miami was missing Chris Bosh for most of last year's playoffs..

Spurs and Lakers, tbh..

Spurs fans always use Duncan and Ginobili's injuries as excuses for playoff exits..

Laker fans used Bynum/Ariza and always use Kobe's finger/ankle/knee and whatever else to excuse his playoff failures, tbh..

Ok, that would have been a good excuse.

What I meant was, using the injury of a player in order to convince others that because of that they are losing, when most people "know" that the team wasn't good even when that player wasn't injured.

Saying Kobe is the reason the Lakers don't make POs is not an excuse, saying they are not the champions because of that is an excuse.

why does that matter to you?

why does that matter to you?

Because it stunts & short circuits a message board and the conversation. I won't stoop to that level. You guys come up here to me. You're afraid to lose, so, you insulate yourself with the machinations of excuses, be injury, officiating, scheduling, whatever. If I let you do that, if I get in that bed with you I'll never [win] or [lose]. And neither will you. You must take your losses in order to take your wins. You must put worth on both end of the spectrum, or, it's hopeless here. Which it is.

You're just afraid. Hell, I'm afraid too, but, if I lose I take it. I have to, or, the wins are meaningless.

You circumvent and stunt conversation with your repeating of everything. You make no predictions at all and you are a coward when it comes to defending your shit takes.

You don't do anything. The only time you have said something of note (i.e. Nash fortifying..) you were so wrong it was disgusting. You never have been correct. Not once.

And they still won't shut up about Malone's injury in '04.
