good. I prefer Houston than GSW in the 1st round.

But GSW could prefer to play us than Denver and could tank as well

I guess we want a 3 game losing streak to end the season. Cool.

I'm pretty sure GSW, HOU, and LA all prefer to play the Spurs out of seeds 1-3 right now. They look the most vulnerable.

Luckily for the Spurs, this plays benefits them as well as GSW & HOU are both relatively easy outs.

Spurs had a 10 game winning streak to close out the RS last year. Turned out to be irrelevant much like a 3 game losing streak would be at this junction as well.

Faried rolling his ankle last night just adds to Denver's vulnerability right now as well. He's out for the remaining 2 games of the regular season and questionable for the start of the playoffs. It won't be 100% for awhile though.

I'd of given Splitter a rest too. Maybe Green but tbh he could use this game. Golden State has pathetic perimeter D, so if he gets enough open looks and makes them, it could start a new hot streak for him.

It is really just the sore neck thats bothering Parker?

And get a possible match-up with LAL - no way - not with the Turd Towers in effect - no LAL or MEM, please - GSW, HOU and DEN suit me just fine. Path of least resistance - given Diaw's absence.

Starting lineup should be : Mills, De Colo, Blair, Bonner, & Baynes.

And we'll probably get blown out, but who cares.

I dont mind Bonner playing. I hate Bonner an Blair playing together. Bonner spreads the floor while Blair is to short an cant playing worth shit. Baynes an Bonner would be cool with me off the bench.

I'm not really understanding the logic behind the Spurs fans that want to play Houston instead of GS. GS is NOT a good team...at all. Rockets can make a series with SA competitive. GS cannot.

Lets look forward to Steph Curry breaking the all time record in 3 point field goals in a single season tonight

If we beat GS, and they go on to lose their season finale in Portland, its possible the Lakers move up to 7

If he hits 3 or 4 today, I bet they just keep feeding him attempts next game. FWIW, i hope he breaks it

Both teams are pretty dangerous tbh. Golden State has Steph Curry who can drop 50+ at any time. Thompson, Jack, and Lee can also score with ease. Especially Jack, who always seems to have great games against the Spurs. The Rockets have James Harden, who can also drop 50+ at any time, especially with the way the refs help him get to the FT line. Both teams are reliant on the 3 ball and don't have much of a post presence. Houston has a horrible home crowd when they play against the Spurs. Hell, there are TONS of Spurs fans at Rockets-Spurs games in Houston. Golden State has a loud, rowdy home crowd that is a major homecourt advantage for them. Both teams aren't very good defensive teams.

im fine with the 2 seed as long as we are playing gs or houston in the first round

Golden State is soft as hell tho. Both Bogut and Curry are an ankle injury to happen. They also have a pretty pathetic bigman rotation. Tim would drop 30+ a game on them with extended playing time.

True. Although Curry has been ballin' lately. Their big man rotation is pretty weak compared to Houston's though. At least Houston has Asik, who is a pretty good defender and rebounder...

Robz4000

Asik being able to slow Tim is my biggest worry in a series with Houston. Harden is good, but the Spurs could live with him going off. With how bad the Spurs have looked, Houston having the ability to shut down our one bright spot is scary.

Golden State is 24-25 in 2013..they aren't a legit playoff team, tbh..

They have 2 consistent players on their roster(Lee and Curry) and both guys are poor defenders, Lee being historically bad..

Their coach is Black and their team is inexperienced..

They are strictly a jump shooting team, and jump shooting teams that don't have volume FT shooters and don't play elite defense rarely do well in the playoffs..

The Spurs should be contracted if they lose a potential series against the Warriors, tbh..

That is the only hope now for the Spurs to get easy matchups and injured teams.

That fourth sentence describes the Spurs perfectly and here I thought a Spurs fan such as yourself would know that.

Tbh, You've made a lot of stupid comments over the years, but "Their coach is black" in the context you're presenting has got to be one of the most moronic statements one could make.

Spurs are 6th in points in the paint, Warriors are 26th, tbh..

Your just ignorant to the fact that jumpshots occur in the key too. Just because the Spurs shoot a few more closer to the rim doesn't mean they don't shoot jumpshots, tbh. An NBA expert like yourself should have known that.

Oh, and :lol at picking Miami ovet Dallas.

Tim and Tony are pretty legit paint scorers. Also, when Splitter scores it's pretty exclusively in the paint. We might not be great in the paint, but that's why we are 6th. He has a point.
