I have been at a number of these races including one right after 9/11. Never saw this. Does not mean dogs etc... Were not around. None-the-less interesting.

REVERE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A law enforcement source tells Fox 25 that a large police presence at a home in Revere is related to the Boston Marathon bombings.

The source said that a suspicious driver was pulled over by Revere police after driving past the State Police barracks a number of times.

The driver reportedly had a "nervous demeanor."

The driver then led police, as well as the FBI, to a home in the area of Ocean Avenue and Beach Street.

It was not immediately known what police were searching for at the home. Three people died and more than 100 were injured after bombs went off within 100 yards of each other near the finish line of the Boston Marathon Monday afternoon.

Reporting on the same search later that night, Fox News host Greta Van Susteren said, "I'm not going to give you the address in case for some reason it's a bad search." But Hoft had no such compunction, publishing the address, the name of the building, and a link to a full list of the building's residents via addresses.com. Hoft also linked to a Free Republic reader's comment that the building was identified in reviews as what the reader termed a "Section 8 hellhole."

By the following morning, Hoft dialed down slightly, calling the Saudi national a "person of interest" in the case, rather than a suspect. But he still published the person's name and a series of photos that he said came from the Facebook page of someone with the same name (including one picture of a young man jumping in front of Cinderella's Castle in Disney World's Magic Kingdom theme park). Hoft cited Free Republic and Townhall as the source for the man's name. According to Wonkette, "the Freeper page is actually just a link to the Townhall article... which doesn't actually include the guy's name (We'll assume it's been scrubbed? 1. Peter King

The former Homeland Security committee chair has made a habit out of scapegoating Muslims, and he’s not holding his tongue this time. He also told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly (http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/04/15/rep-peter-king-to-bill-oreilly-maybe-this-will-be-a-wake-up-call/) [4] that “If anything good can come out of such a horrible event as today, maybe it will be a wake-up call that we have enemies that are out to destroy us.” He added that “They never let up and in many ways they are more treacherous than they were before September 11th because they’ve metastasized, they’ve morphed and many of them are under the radar screen, and that’s why we have to be so aggressive.”
By specifically mentioning 9/11, King is trying to the Boston Marathon attack to Islamist terrorists. But there’s no evidence at all confirming that claim.

2. Steve King

The Long Island Republican isn’t the only politician with the last name King to exploit the attack. Steve King also joined in (http://thinkprogress.org/immigration/2013/04/16/1874071/steve-king-boston-immigration/) [5] on the action today.
King, a Republican representative from Iowa, told the National Review that the Boston bombings should slow down talk of immigration reform that would give undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship.
The National Review reports that “King says national security should be the focus now, and any talk about a path to legalization should be put on hold.”
“If we can’t background check people that are coming from Saudi Arabia, how do we think we are going to background check the 11 to 20 million people that are here from who knows where,” he said.

3. Glenn Beck

Gold is a frequent topic on the shows of Glenn Beck, and the aftermath of the Boston Marathon was no different. He used the attack as an excuse to push people to buy gold. “Let's say this turns out to be a terrorist operation with multiple bombs around the city. 4. Islamophobes

Peter King may be the most high-profile person to link the attack to Islamists, but other fringe Islamphobes are also predictably casting blame on Muslims. Pamela Geller, the professional, rabid anti-Muslim blogger, immediately picked up (http://www.salon.com/2013/04/15/pamella_geller_blames_a_jihadi/) [8] on a New York Post report claiming that a Saudi national was a suspect. It turns out the report was wrong.
Other bloggers have also pushed Islamophobia in the aftermah of the attack. Gateway Pundit, a blog that is part of the Islamophobia echo chamber, published a piece with purported photos of the Saudi national who was wounded in the attack. That blog also claims that the ball bearings that were part of the bomb could mean that there’s an Afghanistan connection. Again, there’s no evidence to substantiate any of the claims pointing to Muslim extremists as the culprit.
And of course, Christian evangelical Pat Robertson implied that Muslims were to blame as well (http://mediamatters.org/video/2013/04/16/pat-robertson-on-boston-bombing-dont-talk-to-me/193644) [9], saying "Don't talk to me about religion of peace, no way."

5. Westboro Baptist Church

There’s never a tragedy that the extremist church out of Kansas focused on gays and lesbians doesn’t try to exploit. And of course, they’ve vowed to picket the funerals of those killed in the Boston bombings.

I hate to even get involved with this, but this was already easily explained. The second picture of the principal was put up while another woman was talking. It was not, nor intended to be seen as, the principal talking. It's similar to when they show a picture of a victim on TV and are having a discussion with that victim's relative at the same time. I think the woman talking was either the new principal or someone that new the victim. I have no idea why people jump to such ridiculous conclusions and honestly it's rather insulting to the victim's families to make such baseless accusations.
