I'm a big TP fan, but really 2 voters of the 104 ESPN experts think Parker will be this year's NBA MVP. Not should be but WILL BE!

Amazing. Where do they get these guys?

I can only assume some of those polled didn't read the poll's instructions.

I don't even think the pope of CoP would choose Tony over LeBron

what I hated about that series is it doesn't seem like Tim is getting too much love from ESPN for DPOY consideration. i'm not sure exactly how many voters there are, or how many of them are the ESPN guys that contributed to these "forecasts", but if this is the bulk of the voters, looks grim for Tim.

its a shame, I wouldn't be surprised if Tim doesn't even end up all defensive first team. They'll put Gasol at center, with Ibaka and LeBron at the forward spots

ahh that's just 1.9% . DH12 got more votes than that when he was in Orlando

That would be a travesty, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Tony did have an outside chance for a while, but it would have required:
1) Tony stays healthy and puts up big numbers all season long, like 20 PPG and 7.5 APG
2) The Spurs finish 66-16 or better
3) The second-best team (OC or MIA) finishes 59-23 or worse

None of those happened, but it would have taken all three.
