What happened to Sanikidze? I don't see him listed on the Georgia roster.

Pierre parker = 3 mins, 0 pts :depressed

Get the man some minutes. I am not a coach but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.

5 of 6 from the free throw line.

Definitely a project.

Good question. Must be trying to secure a contract somewhere and doesn't want to get injured.

What if the Spurs brought him over and let him spend a season in the NDBL? (Just thinking out loud...)

Spurs should get both Sanikidze and Mahinmi over here for a few weeks to work with the new shooting coach, get them working on their shot form.

Good idea. Get him some playing time. He didn't get to play on his French league team even though the team sucked.

What is unclear though is if the Spurs have to sign them and count him as part of the roster to place him on an NBDL team. Anyone heard any clarification on that new rule in the CBA?

sanikidze old team recruited two US player to play wings. so if he stays there he will be on the bench again. it seemed it was not an option sanikidze would take so there is 90% chance he will not be in Dijon next year.

maybee marcus found a potential option for him...

My guess is that they would have to sign him as they would any other player and then put him on the inactive list.

I haven't seen anything on Viktor's intentions to play for a specific team. His contract with Dijon ended 6/30/05. NBDL might be an excellent option but I, too, have not seen any details on the new CBA regarding this.

Sounds worth it. I'll try to find a recent article about Sanikidze even though the Georgian alphabet looks similar to hieroglyphics.

According to what I've read about the new CBA, a team can "assign" two players to play for a NDBL team off of the inactive list during a season.

i understood the same. Sanikidze would become the 14th men
