What is your favorite episode?

Mine flipflops, but right now I think it's the one with the Underpants Knomes. Those fuckers just crack me up.

The underpants one was on this week.

I'm sort of partial to the "respect my authoritah" one. I also enjoyed the "Die, Hippie, Die" from earlier this season.

The Civil War re-enactment one is pretty cool. The 1st one is one of my favorites too.

MannyIsGod
07-08-2005, 10:37 AM
The one with the giant snake firework is great too. If for nothing else, I can watch that one to hear Cartman go "Weaaaaaaaaak, Weaaaaaaaaaaaaaak, You sons of bitches! Sons of bitches!" in the pool. Never fails to crack me up.

Nice nuclear holocaust at the end.

The Thanksgiving episode with the pissed-off turkeys was pretty good. And Starvin' Marvin' was a blast.

samikeyp
07-08-2005, 10:45 AM

"Awesome-O"

The one where the kids play talent agent.

I liked the pilot, with the Cartman/aliens satellite dish stuck up his ass.

Then the one where they were role playing as those Japaneese warriors.

MannyIsGod
07-08-2005, 11:01 AM
The one where butters gets a ninja star stuck in his eye and then gets turned into a "dog" is fucking hillarious as well.

way too many to name them all

asspen was funny for its whole 80s theme and the guy sniffing coke on the street during the intro

Butters very own episode was funny, cuz of that garage owner who says "south park's down that rod...or is south park down that rod?"

The Simpsons already Did it was funny as hell

Cripple fight was amazingly funny due to how well they copied They Live

a good thread would also be to see if we can name all the instances south park has copied something else....like i never saw the movie Children of the Corn, but knew that episode where the parents all went to jail for child molestation was a parody of something...well it was CotC. I finally saw it and laughed even harder

I liked Crippled Fight, and the one where they make their Christian album...and they go platinum, with the words mixed up...rofl that was hilarious

but overall, I don't think I dislike any South Park episode.

The Jesus vs. Satan fight is my favorite of all time. "Dude, Satan's huge!"

Starvin' Marvin is a classic.

And I'm embarrassed to say I've seen "They Live" (my husband made me watch it), so I more fully appreciate the brilliance of Cripple Fight now.

the last season had some weak episodes imo. I still laughed here and there but the overall episodes were less funny than previously.

SP is hitting the wall i think.

what is to be embarrassed about seeing a great movie that was before its time????

if you can't stomach bad acting I can see why you'd say that but it was still a great story, great characters, great dialogue, and never got boring..

Classic line!

If mel gibson or tom cruise said that line then it would be like 10000000000000x more popular of course....the acting was bad, what do you expect he was a freakin wrestler

but the story can't be faded!!!

And in Full Metal Jacket the second half of the movie, the strumpet was like "chin poko, chin poko" when the black dude was offering his 'pure alabama blacksnake' to her

MannyIsGod
07-08-2005, 02:54 PM
It was also a parody of 2001: A Space Odessey

"What are you doing, Kyle?
"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Kyle"
"Screw you!"

I love it!

With a 10 and a 12 year old in the house that's probably a good idea.

Oh, God, I hate that one! :lol My husband loves that cartoon, but that talking meatball freaks me out, not to mention the creepy neighbor. Plus, I usually don't get it. Do you have to be high to get it? :lol

I think my favorite South Park episode is the "Chicken Lover" one.

I don't think Aqua Teen has "jumped the shark" just yet. It's still a good show to watch. Harvey Birdman is another good one as well.
