Kobe's tears added an uncountable amount of wins for the other guys

Lakers padded against us in their Showtime days (like Boston padded against them in their Russell days). Over the past 20 years, it's 4-3 in favor of the Lakeshow.

Hopefully we can tie it up.

Prove me wrong, Tony.

Hell we already balanced the regular season games with them.

Work in progress, Kobe is gone in a year or two and Tony still has plenty of years left. Yeah, like you said, frenchie needs to show us.

These guys look so happy, like they love hanging out with each other. Coach Mike looks like he wants Coach Kobe next to him on the bench for their playoff run this year.

lakers fans better hope MWP or drama queen will lead their team because pau has an embarrassing 0-12 playoff record as the #1 of his team. while kobe would've probably never won shit w/o pau playing alongside his ass, pau might be even worse w/o kobe tbh

I honestly think the lakers have a very good shot. Their defense is better, their ball movement is better, and there hasn't been too much scouting material on them. Add to that Joey Crawford will be reffing game 1, and the spurs are pretty much screwed.

Even without the hack a Dwight, I expect the lal to have a +10 FTa a ge average.

The thing that really scares me is that they do not have Kobe. They are obviously a better team, and they are not a 7th seed. If Kobe has been hurt in Game #2 rather than Game #80, the Lakers would have been a top 3 seed, with Mike Brown coaching this team.

& we're going to find that out now. They win the 16 without Kobe, you'll be right. And I'll be wrong. Make me wrong.

I doubt they will win 16, but I think that if they go past the sore, they will face the thunder in the WCF. Much better than what anybody would expect out of the 7th seed.

Well, that's the bar. You don't get to make up a new bar. They win the 16 you'll be a sage. You & these Lakers will have proven a humongous point and I will be humbled beyond the pale. Humble me.

I never made a bar in the first place. You did. And I don't have to subscribe to it. Lakers could loose in the first round, and they would still be better.
