19/20 analysts picked the Spurs to win. Interesting, I thought there were more Laker jock sniffers on their staff. Even Israel Gutierrez who had the smug satisfaction of being right about us not having what it took to win a title last year picked us.

Didn't see Blair mentioned, tbh.

I see most "experts" are picking the Heat to sweep your Bucks.

I predict no more than a five game series. Anything more than that and I'm ashamed to call yall our toughest competition to return to the finals.

And what's an acceptable number of games for your series with the Rockets before we say we're ashamed to have lost to the thunder(efs) in last year?

Spurs in clean sweep. Maybe, just MAYBE 5 games if they sneak away with one at Staples Center.

If you link to their full injury report, Spurs have no injuries listed. I guess Diaw doesn't count.

Taking it for whatever it's worth, this prediction says Spurs will make it all the way to the Finals, but lose to the Heat 4-2.

Believe. D'Antoni is going to be outcoached. When healthy noone can guard TP. I really don't think we need to double-team anybody. We're pretty matched-up. So we can protect the 3's. I think we're faster so Tony has to push the tempo every time, coz when they're set they're pretty big. It would be very satisfying to be the team sending the Lakers home. Go Spurs Go!

This is the worst Laker defense in memory, and they're missing their second best perimeter defender in Bean. That's gonna sting.

I don't like the Spurs momentum, Lakers could find a groove without Kobe, they could learn how to swim and give a hard time to these Spurs in a worst case scenario

I saw portland light their asses up and it was all ball movement. If we get back to that and we do it better than anyone it shouldn't even be close.

Exactly! You'd think the Sonic Thunders had championship-rich tradition by his remark. And even if the Thunder do return to the Finals, the closest thing to the 90's Bulls awaits them in the Finals.

This... the reason I wanted the Lakers. If they had Kobe I would have been worried.

I would be pleased with a five or six game series. To give Manu, Tony and T-Mac some games to get in game shape.

And yes, T-Mac will have to be a factor as Diaw is injuried, Bonner will dissappear along with Green and Neal and De Colo is just as bad as Mills.

I do expect Pop to use Baynes after the first 20 minutes of play convince him that A. Blair cannot play against a big and agressive frontilne. B. Bonner cannot play against anyone in the PO. and C. Blair, again, cannot play against that big of a frontline and TD and Tiago cannot play all game. Thenn heŽll try Baynes. I hope he can cope with the facts that the officials will try to kill him early but if he can handle it he will be an adition for good.

Clearly our best frontline against LAL (Gasol, Howard, Jamison) is Duncan, Splitter and Baynes.
