You might just go over to the Quarry and go to one of the gazillion places (like Stonewerks if it is still there) there. The Quarry area is at the corner of 'Basse and 281', just down from St. Mary's.

Haufbrau's is pretty good. It's in the Quarry area too.

The Ticket at Broadway/Losoya and Houston is a sports bar downtown. On St. Mary's, Joeys is a good idea. I can't see any place at the Pearl being a good option. Near the Quarry, I agree with Stonewerks which is now up the street on Broadway.
