Why is this news?

Honestly, when it comes to shootings in Colorado, one must wonder why any of us wonder about it any more.

Is it something in the water there? I spend about half the year in Colorado and half the year in Texas and if you polled Americans you would probably be told that one was more likely to get shot in Texas than in Colorado, but I'm beginning to wonder if the stats would bear that out.
