Does anyone here on this forum remember the name of the girl or girls that used to sing a song with part of the lyrics that read "magic carpet ride"
They sounded like the Cover Girls, but It wasn't them.
It was around the year of 86-87

Do you remember when that song "Pump up the volume" came out around 88-89?
There was also a song In the radio back then that had In their Lyrics the words "New York-New York"
Do you know the artist for that song? :spin

The semi-techno song that had the gravely voiced guy going "new york. new york. new york"? I think that was the Microchip League (MCL) and the song was "New York", although the sample was mixed into several other techno songs after that. Good luck finding a copy of that one - I just looked through all of my CDs and MP3's and I don't have that one anymore. :(
