I loved how Pop rested the starters around 1 minute remaining of the game with 13 point (or 15 point) lead. I remembered Thibodeau didn't do the same thing on Rose last Playoffs, up by 13 points with less than 90 seconds remaining

Parker, Green, Leonard, and Splitter. All struggled today. Ton of room for improvement

We are in big trouble unless TP comes around. Gotta have Boris back. Leonard must be much better. Neal missed wide open shots. We found a way to win by playing good D against an offensively limited team.

A win smooths over lots of deficiencies.

TP is only 70 - 80% right now. No speed and no ability to cut from what I saw. He relied on his experience and his BBIQ to make his impact. We need to put LA away in 4 so then these guys get a chance to rest for round 2. We're gonna need his speed if we want to get to the promised land...

Just like I said over the past month, the Spurs will come back and play the way we've grown accustom to see them play. They were playing possum this entire time.

:lol @ 90% of the forum giving up on yall's own team

Exactly with Parker. He played smart because of limitations.

I am happy we won.

But very unhappy with how fit we look. So glad we are not playing Houston.

We play OKC like this, if we can possibly make it, it's a very ugly sweep.

Thats 3 weeks from now, if it happens at all should be considerably healthier by then.

Spurs missed a ton of wide open shots today and still won by 12.

This will be a short series. Spurs in 5, max.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!

Ginobili was asked if it was true his freestyling play caused Popovich's hair turned from gray to white. ''Yeah, and he lost a bunch, too,'' Ginobili said. ''We both did.''

:lmao on Manu

Do you really by into this "playing possum" stuff preached by Bill Simmons and the like? Perhaps the Lakers just aren't that good (which we've all known the entire season).

And you expect a Spurs-OKC WCF again this year?

Dude, this is the time to have faith in your own team. Let's let it play out and see how it fucking goes, alright?

I have plenty faith in them. I just don't buy into the possum theory. Sounds like bullshit.

And I was curious about his opinion

Feels like game 1 was a damn week ago. The first round scheduling is so odd but it's a good opportunity for our guys to recover (especially Boris).

What did he say?

Prior to the game he predicted the Lakers winning in 6. After the game he flipped completely and said Spurs would win in 5 or 6. Such a fucking joke. :lol
