I think it's funny and hope Lin continues to get embarrassed at the worst level possible?

And McHale continues to get dat ass exploited

Yes I find it funny the starting SG has to be the primary ballhandler because the "PG" can't handle the fuckin rock :lol

Oh and :rollin Morey with Lin being your worst acquisiton yet.

Ill accept these ass whoopins if it means only Parsons, Harden, Beverly stay, and McHale is somewhere near the next bomb. Yup.

You should consider keeping Asik too tbh.

yellow dick has the first touch of a table leg. his IQ is his only advantage over westchuck in this matchup but that doesn't mean shit when his fundamentals & skillset are well below the average level of most amataur basketballers tbh. son of a bitch ain't no better than a 10th or 11th guy on the bench of a scrub team, and the role he played in GW was a fair reflection of his ability and potential imho

Lin is just "wildly" inconsistent.
His peaks are high his valleys low ...
But Rox overachieved a bit this year so expecting a playoff win is bit much tbh ...

Lin isn't Jordan. He's a serviceable PG though.

RIN is a fkn scrub who gets exposed, then plays in scrub minutes to pad his stats like he had a good game,

McHale during the game (after the 1st quarter) to the TNT sideline chick :

" we have to move the ball, there is no motion "

Well then why do you keep running ISO's you turd ?

After seeing CoJo play today I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that I would choose CoJo over Lin as a starting point guard.

Lin is D-League level talent with enormous marketable capability that allows him to stay in the NBA

dude's performance was piss poor tonight tbh. Rin can be brilliant when the sun shines on his ass once in a while, but there're many players capable of doing just as good while only demanding minimum wages. the little yellow dick ain't even worth 1/10 the money he gets paid tbh, his contract still not as terrible as yao's though

First playoff game against a really tough team. I am eager to see how Lin responds to his bad performance.

I don't think McHale did that great of a job this season. Team didn't play much defense and he pretty much let Harden go iso on every play. Not sure where he actually coached.

I don't know why Rocketfan blames McHale. That was a 20-win roster until they got gifted Harden. There's not a coach in the league who could make that matchup competitive.

There's a clear disparity in talent, lets just be honest. And with the defensive talent the Thunder has, this one dimensional offense can only do so much. You're going to need offensive diversity to beat the Thunder. Plus, it's all perimeter so it feeds right into their hands. They have no number two, and Parsons (POTENTIALLY) can eventually become that complimentary #3 on a good team. This Houston team is incomplete, and fairly young and that's the bottom line. They made the playoffs, and that's a start. They need more talent, and they need some of the existing young talent to develop. This is what happens in the playoffs, all those threes all of a sudden don't drop because half ass defense no longer exists. McHale knew uptempo gave them the best chance to make the playoffs, and they did.

Harden/Asik/Parsons. Everyone else is expendable. Well, everyone except Harden given the right scenario. Honestly, I wouldn't want to trade D-Mo either. Give McHale a break, what else was the guy supposed to do? Run post ups for Asik? LOL He could give D-Mo a few minutes, because the guy COULD develop into something down the line. He has all the tools. Getting a fresh playoff smack in the face is a way to show a young guy where he needs to be to really compete in this league, and it's good going into the offseason to serve as motivation. But everyone knows Houston may win one game. No shock here.

I want to see the 2nd game before jumping to conclusions. OKC started focused and HOU was distracted (for whatever reason). The initial pts differential was very important, because it allowed OKC to rest players.
Like I said, I’m gonna wait for the 2nd game.

And yes, OKC is the better team. Rockets shouldn’t be mad if they don’t win. This was (is) an excellent season with a new team.

its going to be a sweep with the starters playin scrub minutes padding stats...why even bother

Houston could take a game if they get REALLY hot from the perimeter. They took 36 three pointers last night. Houston seems to live by the 3 pointer. OKC has too much length on the perimeter and too much speed defensively for Houston to get many really uncontested looks unless they're in transition. Besides KD and Westbrook, you also have anothe pretty blatant mismatch with Ibaka and whoever Houston puts on the floor at the 4.

Pretty much this. I can definitely see the Rockets hitting something like 19-34 from 3 in one game, and it would take a heroic effort by the Thunder to win in that case. However, it won't be enough to stop the Rockets from losing in 5 (my pick).

The patterson trade was fucking stupid. Morey and his dumbshit sell high buy low crap doesn't always work. Just watch, Parsons is going to be traded this off season in a stupid trade.
