Whatever…my answer to the refs was: just call the violations on the superstars, make them play the game the right way-they make adjustments.

How many push-offs did @CP3 (https://twitter.com/CP3) have on that game winner - 3 or 4? Note to @NBA (https://twitter.com/NBA) refs using your off arm creates separation & is advantageous.

Phil Jackson is the Don Corleone of the NBA, anyone who has shit to say about the Godfather might as well turn in their NBA badge.

Just saw highlights. Nice armwork on that shot. Allen was pushed and pushed, up until he took step back, because Paul could flop on him. Pathetic.

Phil wasn't attacking anyone. He was saying the onus is on the refs, not on the players. The players are required to do anything they can to win, the refs are there to punish them for breaking rules.

He got away with a pushoff, but it was the final seconds and he's a superstar.

There isn't a ref in the world who would call a pushoff there and it would be the same for any star player.... Spurfan would be screaming "RIGGED" if :cry elite PG Tony Parker :cry hit that shot and got called for a pushoff; there would be a rip-roaring meltdown upstairs....

It amazes me how everyone was on Chris Paul's nuts last night and now that Phil Jackson says something everyone can't believe how CP3 got away with murder. By the way Thread; is Phile Jackson a pussy and an asshole?

Considering how Demarcus Cousins's mean look made Chris Paul flail uncontrollably, I'd be a bit paranoid too of drawing a flop in the last seconds of a game.

He's been on the run since the Lakers said "no." He was humiliated. They tried to help, but, there wasn't much Media could do to rehabilitate him. Jim Buss poleaxed him.

I didn't think anything in that sequence was a foul, on either player. Good, hard nosed D, and multiple strong dribbles/attacks by CP3. The refs will never call something like that IMHO.

Bibby shouldn't have fouled Kobe's elbow with his nose, tbh.

And Rip Hamilton elbowed Parker in the neck on a last second drive in 05.....no call.

Nah, there were two fouls... the pushoff by CP3, and Tony Allen holding CP3 earlier in the play, tbh.... the refs were actually smart to not call anything on that play, because if they did, one team would be getting screwed over no matter what....

The "pushoff" wasn't really a pushoff. You are allowed to use your off arm to keep your defender off your body as long as you don't extend it. Lots of players push their defender's arms off their body. And Tony Allen was physical but moved his feet extremely well, so basically nothing but his chest and a little forearm ever touched CP3, and he definitely didn't affect the shot.

Obviously, it's debatable but I saw a great basketball play. Let's not ruin it with bogus ticky tack foul calls after the fact.
