Lebron fan doesn't take into account that Stern basically gifted Lebron a finals berth for 5-6 years by allowing the super team to form in such a weak conference. I don't do conspiracies nor do I subscribe to them like a lot of people do on this board but it's obvious what's happening. Lebron will win multiple titles until he's tired of doing so.

One argument that will always kill Stern's credibility in regards to Lebron's "The Decision" will be the one dealing with CP3's trade to the Lakers. I'm not a Laker fan by any stretch of the imagination nor do I support that bitchmade franchise but Stern basically cancelled the trade that would've sent CP3 to form a superteam with the Lakers. A team like that with CP3 would've easily been favorites to come out of the West and challenge Miami with their size and talent alone.

His response was that he was doing it in the best interest of the team :lmao. As an NBA fan, that's absolute horseshit partner. What about the best interests of teams like Toronto and Cleveland? These are teams that will be mired in shit unless a superstar like Lebron joins.

Looking back at that bizarre time, Stern most definitely wanted to establish the Heat as the dominant team of this decade just like the Bulls in the 90's. The league will milk out whatever comes out of this "dynasty" and hopefully through all that we'll have a shot at defeating those assholes from Miami. It's just hard seeing that happen anytime soon, but a fan's gotta believe ehh, partner?

Btw Rocketfan, I know that feel... this was basically a repeat of that Clippers/Thunderefs game earlier in the year when the Clippers switched to zone and mounted a huge comeback.... even down to the refs stepping in at the last second and allowing RefKC's bigs to get away with murder.... Stern needs to switch up his scripts, tbh, they're getting old :lol

The Rockets played like shit most of the game, with their main plan being "run around like idiots and let someone eventually take a shot we could have gotten in the 1st few seconds of the clock". That last 12 seconds they ticked off was indicative of just how green they are.

Had we lost last night, the last thing I'd blame was Harden shooting 20 free throws or any of the questionable calls there might have been. That's the NBA and that's James Harden and he's gonna go to the line a ton sometimes. I'd blame about 5 other things that had nothing to do with foul calls. I don't watch 48 minutes of basketball and come out focusing on a missed call. Perk fouled him and the ref missed it. It happens. Harden shot twice the FT's KD did and win or lose I'm not bitching and moaning about it. There's fans here that would though because they're lame fans. They wanna pinpoint a blown call or two rather than actually focus on the 48 minutes of ball that was played. Kinda lame.

Westbrook was pissed because he got hit with a knee into the inner groin after he called a timeout. And if you've done anything remotely competitive, you'd know it hurts like a son of a bitch when it happens. It's a dirty play that's taboo in basketball. When a player is about to call a timeout you don't go full speed at him and try to steal the ball; same thing with you don't make contact with players in the air from behind or aim elbows for the head.

Yeah..Perk gets called for a LOT of moving screens. The problem here is people are taking isolated incidents, missed calls, etc and blowing it completely out of proportion and making absurd statements like OKC sets moving screens on every offensive possession and never gets called for it. I bet Perk leads the NBA in moving screen violations. If you guys think Perkins is a ref favorite and gets babied you're absolutely out of your mind.

No it really doesn't, I dare you to try and find several more instances of it. It is a dirty play, any smart player will try to make extra contact after a foul or timeout because it adds fatigue to the opposing player without risking a foul. It's ridiculous to bitch about it though because they're grown ass professional men; they can handle themselves. The enforcer on the court should ensure that the rest of the team is safe from those type of plays. As long as a player doesn't make a habit of it like Ron Artest then fair game.

You have to understand you're dealing with a lot of different personalities on this forum. Different is not necessarily a bad thing, but we all know those people who live their lives as the victims. Always a step behind, a day late, and a dollar short - and it's never their fault. It's always the result of the wrongdoing of someone else, an injustice, a conspiracy. We all know people like this. Every shortcoming in life is never their fault and the success of others is never legit. They're being conspired against and those that succeed are being unjustly aided. And so these people with that viewpoint in life have it with basketball as well. Simple as that. You won't convince them otherwise.

You see, that's a clever ass comeback, and from a Houston fan no less. Usually I have to break out the Spanish to English dictionary whenever talking to someone south of the Red River, but that was pretty good.

Ditto.

The Thunder need help to beat the Rockets at home but they're going to be able to beat the Spurs? K. We'll see how that works out for you.

Actually as it stands I think the Clippers are going to take out OKC in round #2. You can bookmark that as well.

No, I honestly wanted to know. All I remember is that you guys needed the refs to win against Houston. Regardless of Game 1, you still needed dat hold to get it to 2-0. Now, you might be able to beat Houston like that, but you probably won't get by LAC, and you definitely aren't making the Finals with that kind of garbage, unless you truly have the refs in your pocket every night.

Oh I know, just makes me sad to see people ride on the coattail of their city's supposed greatness like it is some great achievement of their own. That's what wrong with people today, bunch of shiftless unambitious people with an undeserved sense of entitlement and arrogance.

The plot is based in Oklahoma, and the writer of the movie is originally from Oklahoma:lol..

Thus, I will ask you, do you prefer the youthful appeal of your sister or the experience of your mom, tbh?(although, assuming your mother is now in her 40s, she probably has severe meth face and only 3-4 teeth remaining..that look might turn you on, to be fair, seems to be the norm in OKC:lol)..

Perkins does set a lot of moving screens... the problem is that he isn't held responsible for how many he sets. He easily sets over 6 moving screens a game. If the refs were to call every single one, Perkins would average maybe 10 minutes a game before fouling out. Combine that with a lot of the other bullshit (elbowing Smith in the gut to clear space, the hold on Parsons, numerous loose ball fouls) that isn't called and Perkins can be easily translated into being a "ref favorite." I know the refs aren't perfect and I am sure EVERY NBA player would foul out if the refs saw everything happening, but the rate of which Perkins is ignored is astronomical. I believe that is the major concern of most every NBA fan out there.
